Y42 S1 Ravenclaw Practice

(For chaser's reference, no one has the quaffle, Rory already scored :r)

Sawyer could only shrug and laugh at Michael's comment, glad to see the team seemed to be keeping up their enthusiasm, something he was happy to share with them when he saw Sefina manage to nab the snitch as well. "Awesome, keep it up!" He called out to her.
 
Xiuying got hold of the quaffle once it was thrown back out.
 
Lily was glad the other alt seeker got the snitch as well. For her the snitch was still hidden.
 
When Xiuying was close enough to the hoops, she threw the quaffle towards the left hoop but the quaffle was blocked and didn't manage to go through the hoop.
 
Branson caught the ball when it was tossed back out after Xiuying's attempt to score.
 
Michael chased after a bludger, that seemed determined to stay just out of range.
 
Valeria managed to hit another bludger and sent it directly towards the young seeker.

Xiuying followed beside Branson as he caught the quaffle and made his way towards the hoops.
 
Sutton caught herself watching the practice before her, a bit distracted by the other players. She didn't realize that she had been hovering in the same spot for awhile until a bludger came her way. She swung the bat awkwardly, hitting the bludger towards no one in particular.
 
When Branson reached the hoops, he threw the ball and was glad when it went in.
 
Valeria of course missed the next bludger she went for.
 
Sutton was so shocked as she managed to hit the bludger. Although she was aiming for someone else, it soared directly into @Valencia Addington Sutton cringed slightly. Her aim needed to be better, but at least she hit...a target.

Valeria failed to hit her next bludger.
 
As did Michael.
 
Still coming down from the high of catching the snitch and spurred on by her teammates, Sefina tried to focus again. She hoped she could make a second catch before practice was over.
 
Michael grazed the side of a bludger with his bat, sending it off nowhere in particular.
 
Sawyer just managed to get his hands on Xiuying's next shot but he wasn't quite moving as quickly when Branson came to score again. A quick scan of the rest of the team was enough to confirm he wasn't the only one feeling a little worn out and he blew a sharp note on his whistle, getting the teams' attention for a moment. "Let's take five and catch out breath," he called to the team, touching down and gulping down some water, working out an ache in his left leg he was sure was from a bludger before mounting back up after the team looked a little more lively. "Alright, good work so far everyone, really, if we can play like this against Gryffindor we'll be in great shape," he said, kicking back into the air and tossing the quaffle back into play.

Michael was very relieved to have a break, taking a few moments to stretch, to work out a spot where he'd been hit, and have some water. He took to the skies again with purpose, only that purpose did him no favours when he whiffed the first hit.
 
Valeria was glad for the little break they got. She was able to get some water and just breath for a little. But it didn't last that long. She was back up in the air in now time.
 
Branson welcomed the opportunity to take a little break. He stretched, drank water and sat down for a moment. Things got started again and he grabbed the ball.
 
Sawyer was already feeling fresher after having a break, following where Branson was with the quaffle and matching his position as he shifted in front of the hoops.
 
Xiuying has glad for the break. She took some time during the break for a breather and a drink of water. Before she knew it, she was back in the sky practising again, and followed Branson as he had the quaffle.
 
When Lillian got hurt again the pain scorched through her body. It was awful, but she pushed through. Luckily they were allowed a break and Lillian stretched and took a breather.
 
Apparently the break did actually work, though, and the first hit was just a warmup. He saw a chance and hit a bludger straight at @Hamish Reid and watched as it collided. Still not sure whether he should be happy or not about hitting his own teammates, but at least being able to hit people was a good sign for their game.
