Y42 S1 Ravenclaw Practice

Sawyer had been ready for a feint as Xiuying approached the hoops, realizing too late that she was aiming true as the quaffle sailed past him as he dove in the wrong direction. Shaking his head with a sigh, he threw the quaffle back out, glad the chasers were on point today at least.

Lillian had been flying high and low, but she still hadn't even picked up a glimpse of the snitch. Wondering how hard it could be.

Hamish continued his search.

Branson grabbed the ball after it was tossed back out.

Valeria missed the bludger she was aiming for.

It was good to keep an eye on the team but Sawyer had really been slacking on his own defensive playing, shifting his broom as Branson took the quaffle.

Valeria missed the next bludger she was going for.

Branson got close to the hoops and threw the ball, very disappointed to miss.

Sawyer was glad to be able to knock Branson's next shot aside, evening up his catch to goal ratio just a bit before throwing the quaffle back into play.

Lillian continued her search for the golden ball.

Sawyer felt himself start to drift in a slight breeze that had kicked up, hurrying to recenter himself in front of the center hoop again.

Why the snitch was pretty elusive at the moment was a mystery to her.

Michael really casually swung his bat, not because he was trying to hit a bludger or anything, honest.

Valeria managed to hit the next bludger and then watched as it slammed into one of the other beaters.
@Michael Watson
1x Xiuying Huang
1x Sawyer Carnahan
1X Lillian Morrow
1x Hamish Reid
1x Branson Archer
1x Michael Watson

Sawyer winced as Valeria managed to hit another player. He wanted them to have a solid offense like the other teams but still... Ouch.

Michael winced at the hit, not even managing to bat it away as it slammed into him. "Nice one," he called to Valeria, giving her a slightly winded thumbs-up.

Sawyer was glad Michael took the bludger hit well; he did feel a little guilty how much pressure he probably put on the second year to play and give him advice, but he seemed to be holding up well for now.

Sefina caught nothing but a mix of nitrogen and oxygen.

Sawyer stretched out his arms and legs, trying not to let them cramp up after not flying as much over the break.

Hamish continued his search.

Xiuying got a hold of the quaffle when it was thrown back out, circling around the pitch and back to the hoops.

Michael hit a bludger into the aether. Or, you know, just the air, somewhere not near any of the team.

Sefina caught nothing.

Sawyer straightened up on his broom as Xiuying approached, trying to gauge which hoop she was aiming for.

When Xiuying was close enough to the hoops, she threw the quaffle towards the left hoop. But the quaffle didn't make it through the hoop this time around.
