Y42 S1 Hufflepuff Practice

Renata grabbed the quaffle after it was thrown out and really, really hoping to score before training ended.
 
Tilly protected her teammates.
 
Renata supposed she was either really unlucky, or the keepers were too good, or both.
 
Tilly sent a bludger Rene's way, hoping to keep him sharp for the Slytherin game. Unfortunately, her aim was too good. @Rene Tofilau

Silas was maybe a little too cocky, resulting in his not paying attention and getting hit by a bludger. Those things bloody hurt, and they weren’t even the full thing. As he recovered, he ended up letting a quaffle go through.
 
Felix was starting to feel a little discouraged again when he glanced down and noticed a flash of gold. He blinked, not sure if he actually saw what he thought he did. But when he saw the snitch fly across the pitch he nearly lost his balance as he went to chase it. He had to dodge around a few of his team mates but a few moments later he was holding the snitch in the air for everyone to see.
 
Although she felt like she was embarrassing herself, Renata was going to take every opportunity she could as the other chasers didn't try to take possession.
 
Felix let go of the snitch and closed his eyes as it flew off, giving it some time to get a head start before he started his search again.
 
René picked up a little speed when it seemed like Felix might be making a move. With his eyes on the seeker, he wasn't ready at all when Tilly hit a bludger his way, knocking him entirely off course as he wheezed, trying to catch his breath again. He cheered weakly when he saw Felix had actually caught the snitch, nevermind that he may or may not have been trying to interfere with that moments before.
 
In desperation, Renata lobbed the quaffle through a hoop with as much force as she could and sighed in utter relief as it went past the keeper and through. "Oh, thank Merlin," she muttered under her breath, taking a moment to take a breather.
 
Felix was feeling a bit better about practice now that he caught the snitch twice but he got back to searching once more. He wanted to be very prepared for whatever the game threw at him.
 
Leonardo grabbed the ball after Renata managed to score.
 
It was a bit late to try and stop Felix grabbing the snitch but aiming for the seekers was still excellent practice; they didn't fly quite like anyone else on the team and René was glad when he was finally able to get a shot that hit true. @Felix Carnahan
