Y41 Slytherin Practice

Focussed on the snitch, Ivelisse didn’t notice the next bludger that came her way in time and groaned when it hit her. She knew she didn’t even need to look which of the beaters had hit her, although by now she would almost prefer it to be Ares. If only to rob Celia of the satisfaction.
 
Celia had yet to see a single bludger take out a person, but that didn't stop her from hoping she would someday manage to knock someone out with one blow. Unfortunately, Ivelisse kept flying. In an attempt to remedy that issue, Celia lobbed another bludger at the seeker, but it veered away and hit @Indira Khatri instead.

Ive tried to shake off the first bludger hit and continued looking for the snitch.
 
Liusaidh grabbed the ball as it was thrown back out and would circle back to the hoops.
 
Seamus was having no luck with bludgers and just kept hitting them wide.
 
Landing a hit was always satisfying, but Celia knew she needed to work on her aim. She couldn't afford any mistakes in an actual game. So she was very pleased when her next bludger hit her target, @Ivelisse Burleigh.

Ivelisse could hear another bludger coming but was too late to dodge it, grimacing when it hit her yet trying her best not to act like it hurt. After getting knocked out of two games practice bludgers couldn’t be that bad. Right? It took everything she had got for her not to glare at Celia and she quickly focussed her energy back on her search.
 
Ive kept looking
 
As soon as Liusaidh was close to the hoops she threw the ball and watched it sail in.
 
Seamus would just need to keep trying because he was still failing to hit anything properly.
 
The bludger swerved towards her, and Celia brought her bat up to defend herself. The ball collided off her bat and flew towards an empty corner of the pitch.
 
Indi hadn't seen the bludger coming and swore when it collided into her side. She gripped the handle of her broom tighter but kept going. Her side ached as she reached out and grabbed the quaffle after Liusaidh made another goal. She tucked the ball under her arm and started to make her way around the pitch again.
 
Once again, Celia decided to aim for Ivelisse. Unfortunately, the bludger overshot the girl and headed for @Lucie Vernier instead. She supposed that would technically even things out between Lucie and Indi, who appeared to be headed for the hoops.

Indi wasn't slowed down but her previous bludger hit and kept up her speed as she made her way to the hoops again. She took advantage of a bludger headed Lucie's way and used that distraction to make another goal.
 
Celia was making some good progress with the bludgers and now Ares wanted it to be his turn. He attempted to hit one that was coming his way, however swung too wide and completely missed it.
 
Celia had finished warming up now and was hitting bludgers in every direction. It was certainly distracting to Lucie, who ended up missing a catch before a bludger hit herself in the side. She leaned over in agony, consequently missing the next one. This was frustrating for the Slytherin, and she was definitely going to explode if she didn't catch the next shot. She just threw the quaffle out again.
 
Ive looked for the snitch.
 
When Ares saw another bludger, he didn't hesitate this time. He swung as hard as he could, aiming for Ivelisse so she could be knocked out for good. Unfortunately however, it went off course, slamming into @Avery Lancaster instead.

Avery had anticipated a bludger sooner or later, but no amount of preparation really helped to steel against it. He continued seeking, rubbing idly at his shoulder.
 
Celia was pretty surprised that Ares managed to not only hit a bludger, but also successfully hit that bludger into a seeker. She chased after the ball, determined to land another hit against a seeker herself.
 
Ivelisse kept looking.
 
After Indira managed to score again, Liusaidh moved forward and grabbed the quaffle, she would have equal success.
 
Seamus was beginning to wonder if he should even be on the team with this preformance as he failed to hit another bludger.
