Matt had seen his fair share of graduations by now, but seeing Clifton graduate was special. Matt sat with his colleagues, listening first to Professor Alicastell and then to the head boy and girl. Both were bright students, and Matt was sure they both had bright futures ahead of them as well. He applauded for them both. Then the students walked across the stage to get their diplomas, which made Matt feel rather emotional. Most had been taught by him, and it was strange and wonderful to think they were now ready to go into the wide world. He kept his expression neutral, but couldn't help the proud smile when he saw Clifton receive his diploma. He was sure his cousin would do great things.

Amaya was surprised to receive the invitation to the twins' graduation. It had come from Baron, oddly enough. She sat with her parents. If anyone asked, she could easily say she was only here for Jasper. She clapped as her brother crossed the stage. When the boys were called, first Baron and then Kace, she clapped a bit harder. Things may have ended badly between her and the twins, but she couldn't pretend she didn't care.

She watched the boys, an old, familiar twinge in her heart as she watched Kace graduate. Once, she might have thought that she would be here for him, not just invited by his brother. She felt a little sad watching him. She had given him her all once. She was surprised a bit to find herself still wishing that it could have been enough for him. She supposed that was what happened when you loved a boy. He had been just that, a boy. She wondered now, watching him cross the stage, what sort of man he might have grown into. Her heart felt heavy as she realized she may never know. @Baron Corelli @Kace Corelli

this was not the first graduation that elvera had attended, and it certainly would no be her last. but siting amongst the crowds she knew that this was one of the most important ones she would ever attend. the only one where her daughters would graduate. or daughter singularly since Helia had pulled out to start a cooking aprentichip. she still didn't agree with her younger daughters choice but it hadn't been her decision to make. She had stood with her mum and cousin until the ceremony started and then moved to sit with the professors. She listened as Catherine spoke and then eliot. he had been a good student in her classes and she was sure that he would do well. then came Selenes speech. If she had been feeling emotional at the start of the ceremony it was nothin compared to when her girl was talking. she could feel herself tearing up from the start and she was a teary mess by the end. how was her little baby now a graduate it made no sense. obviously logically it did. but it felt so wrong. she clapped as each of the students got an award. Once the ceremony was over she went back over to her family to awate the arrival of the graduate. "How are they so grown up, my little babies are not graduating and facing the wide world" she said to maya and morgan.
as selene approached she put her arms out and gave her a big hug "congratulations Selene" she said not caring if she embarrassed the girl. "you did wonderfully and I couldn't be prouder of you" she said letting her daughter go. she didn't want to embarrass her too much.

It had been a long time since Morgan had been in the castle, about twenty years since the time that she had taken a years worth of divination classes while elvera was unwell, it felt like a different life, and sue guessed it was in some ways. the last time she had been at graduation things had been very chaotic. she had come to see one daughter graduate and left with three. she doubted anything quite so dramatic would occur today as she knew elvera did not have any skeletons in her past, atl east not as big as hers. she stood and spoke with elvera and @Maya DeNiro until the ceremony started and then took a seat with her neice while Elvera went to sit with the professors. She listened to the first two speeches. the head boy seemed nice. and from what she could remember of what selene had said about him he was. and then it was selene's turn. she listened as her granddaughter spoke. wise words for one so young. she couldn't help but tear up. she rummaged in her bag and found a pack of tissues she took one and offered one to Maya then to one of the other guests nearby she could see crying. it was a real marvel. she hardly paid attention the rest of the ceremony. she was too far gone.
once the procedings were over she watched as the young adults interacted she hoped that they were be proud of their accomplishments as it really was a huge thing. as the ceremony ended she waited with may. soon elvera joined them and she could see she was not the only one who had been crying. she put her hand around her daughter. to treasure her. it must be weird for her girl to be growing up. it had been for her and she hadn't really had a relationship with elvera until she was twelve and eden until they ere eighteen. she stepped back as selene approached. letting levera have first call she gently put her and on her shoulder when her hug was lasting too long to give selene a chance to gett away.

Adorah couldn't believe she was sitting at another graduation - Elliot's to boot. While she wasn't really friends with many students, watching those just above her like Nell and Elliot graduate was a little jarring. Hadn't she only just come to school? The castle had been somewhat of a haven the past 6 years - what would happen when she had no home to come back to? She was sure sleeping on her sister's couch would only last so long, and Adorah sunk in her seat at the thought. However, she was quickly distracted by the graduation speeches, giving her few friends cheers as they crossed the stage, hoping that they ended up in a good spot with the world. Like they all should.

Gabriella felt strange as she set foot back on Hogwarts. It had been such an stressfull period in her life and an rollercoaster of emotions. But she also had left with something really important, her boyfriend who she met here and he was the sunshine in her life. And she still wondered where she ever deserved that. As she walked in hand in hand with Marcos she made her way to sit in the great hall. Trying to spot Lauren in the crowd. She was proud of her younger sister, and never had more respect of someone more than she. She still felt guilty about not helping sooner, and she would make it up with her. Lauren could even stay with her in Sweden if she liked, but she would respect her own decision. She knew Lauren would be thinking about the trial also that was coming up in a few days. And ofcourse that was something Gabriella also thought about. But not today. She knew that her parents had been here for her graduating, and they were not for Lauren. But she was glad, because Lauren would be in great danger if they would show up. So it was good that the headmistress and Lauren's head of house knew of the situation to protect her. As Lauren made her way up to the podium and got her diploma Gabriella clapped loud, and smiled as she noticed Lauren. She deserved this, and hopefully she would finally enjoy her life. The chapter needed to be closed in a few days, and ofcourse than it would not all be forgotten, but they could move on. Smiling at Marcos and touching his hand for an moment, she was glad he was here along with her.
