Y38 Beauxbatons Practice S1

Aramis was musing that Édelie seemed like a good fit as their captain, though he wasn't sure Gemma needed any more encouragement to hit people.
 
Once again Gemma was back to waiting. With a sigh she checked her nails but looked up quickly every time she thought she saw something moving toward them. Maybe she was simply scaring away the bludgers? She would be content with that.
 
As much as Aramis did enjoy watching the rest of the team play, he figured he should probably also get back to watching the chasers. He wasn't as used to Ares as Édelie or Gaby so he shouldn't be drifting off as much as he was.
 
Gemma reflexes were put to the test as she snapped out of her bored posture as a bludger came rushing toward Hugo. Thankfully she was quick and knocked it out of the way but she hadn't been able to aim it at anyone so it sored uselessly out toward the stands. She frowned but was glad she was able to block it.
 
The bludgers didn't seem to be around which was pretty disappointing. Soon she spotted one, but that one went way off.
 
Édelie decided to change things up and steal the quaffle back from Ares to then toss it towards @Gabrielle Perrault
 
Gaby caught the quaffle when Édelie tossed it to her, glad they could get a little bit of teamwork in again as she headed off towards the hoops.
 
Édelie was glad to see her camaraderie with Gaby was still going strong this year and followed her towards the hoops.
 
Aramis grinned when Édelie nabbed the quaffle back before throwing it to Gaby instead, angling his broom to face her more instead.
 
Gaby continued on towards the hoops, swerving to the left but quickly deciding to aim the quaffle at the middle hoop instead. She smiled when it sailed through before turning around to get back in position.
 
Aramis tried to get a hand on the quaffle as Gaby took her shot, unable to move fast enough before it was through the center hoop. "Good shot," he said, ducking down to scoop up the quaffle and throwing it back out.
 
Élise wacked a bludger but it went off. Too bad her aim wasn't that bad, but the weather wasn't that nice.
 
Amelie continued her search for the snitch.
 
Édelie was glad Gaby scored again and hoped she could get in a few shots during the practice. She grabbed the quaffle after Aramis threw it back.
 
Aramis stretched out his arms after Édelie grabbed the quaffle, trying to shake off the rust after the holiday break.
 
Gaby shot Aramis a smile when he threw the quaffle back out, shooting after Édelie when she caught it.
 
Amelie glanced towards the others before going back to her search.
 
Aramis tried not to let himself get too comfortable with Gaby and Édelie working together with the quaffle.
 
Gemma continued to look out for bludgers but they all seemed to be busy elsewhere.
 
Bludgers were are thou, Élise was wondering if there was some secret meeting for bludgers that she wasn't informed of. They were just not here at the moment.
 
Amelie continued her search.
 
The beaters seemed a little frustrated trying to hunt down the bludgers and Aramis was glad that he played a position where the ball came to him.
 
Édelie attempted to score, frowning when she was unsuccessful.
 
Aramis was ready for Édelie as she approached, grabbing the quaffle squarely with two hands before tossing it back out, giving Édelie a only slightly smug shrug.
 
Amelie kept searching
