Y37 Beauxbatons Quidditch Practice S1

Getting hit by a bludger wasn't fun and Élise wondered how many bludgers a regular human could werestand. Not that it mattered she needed to be strong for the team. She wanted to hit one of the chasers with an incoming bludger but it went off. It hit @Gemma Thorne instead.

Aramis flinched as a bludger shot past the chasers, who he'd been watching come closer. Thankfully, it stayed away from them, though it did suck for Gemma when she was hit.

Édelie attempted to score and was finally successful again. She spun around on her broom with a new energy.

Mualla smiled when Édelie scored the sixth goal, happy to see that both chasers were scoring.

"Nice one!" Gaby smiled at Édelie when the other girl managed to get the quaffle past Aramis. They were doing pretty good so far and she could only hope they'd be as solid of a team in their upcoming match. She caught the quaffle when their keeper threw it back out, tucking it under her arm as she moved away from the hoops.

Aramis didn't react fast enough when Édelie made her shot, fumbling to catch the quaffle as it went through the hoops. He gave a sheepish smile as he scooped it up, throwing it back out to the chasers and dusting his hands off.

Édelie shot Gaby a smile and then followed her back out as she caught the quaffle.

Gaby continued on, now turning to head back towards the hoops as she tried to figure out what move to make.

Gaby and Édelie were a heck of a team and Aramis watched them closely from his spot by the hoops.

Gaby decided to pass the quaffle over to @Édelie de la Mora when they were about halfway down the pitch, easily tossing it over to her.

Édelie caught the quaffle from Gaby and tossed it into the hoops, scoring again.

Édelie caught the quaffle as it was thrown back in and flew a good ways out into the pitch.

Aramis was focused on Gaby and didn't have time to react when she passed to Édelie, her shot flying straight past him. He scooped up the quaffle, throwing it back out again.

Édelie flew closer to the hoops, looking for a moment to pass or maybe score again.

Aramis got ready to move so he could get in front of Édelie, not wanting to let her get another shot in if he could avoid it.

Mualla watched the chasers as well as Aramis and was impressed by how many times he had blocked their attempts to score a goal.

(2a)
Gaby was glad to see her decision to pass payed off again, chasing after Édelie when she caught the quaffle again as it was thrown back out. When she saw an opportunity she moved in, stealing it from her. She felt like they made a good team so far but also quite enjoyed practicing some steals in the hopes of being able to get some in in their real match as well.

The practise was going great, the chasers were scoring plenty and if they kept up this game when the Americans would come they would be definetly going home with a win.

Gaby circled back to the hoops, happy to see her shot make it through again.

Aramis had been focused on Édelie, nearly missing it when Gaby stole the quaffle. Switching gears, he fumbled to get into position to block Gaby's shot, feeling his fingers just brush the quaffle before it made it through the hoops. Scrunching up his face in mild annoyance, Aramis threw the quaffle back out to the chasers again.

Gaby turned around after her attempt, hoovering around the hoops as she waited for another chaser to possibly catch the quaffle when Aramis threw it back at them.

Édelie wasn't surprised when Gaby stole the quaffle from her. It kept things interesting, and she was glad to see the girl score. She caught the quaffle when Aramis threw it back and headed out.

As soon as Édelie caught the quaffle Gaby turned around as well and followed suit behind the other girl.

Gaby and Édelie were really keeping Aramis on his toes, which was both equally impressive and exhausting. He wasn't too surprised to see them flying together once again as Édelie took the quaffle.

Édelie flew alongside Gaby, tossing the quaffle to her to continue getting better at being a team. @Gabrielle Perrault
