The Stands

The first Ravenclaw quidditch game since Jon had been made head of house was about to begin, and he had no intention of missing it. It would be ridiculous for him to not attend, and miss out on supporting the house he represented and contradictory to the kind of professor he was, or tried to be. So Jon arrived to the stands shortly before the game was about to begin, sporting Ravenclaw house colours and with a small blue bird painted on his forehead. He sat down in one of the back rows and waited for the game to begin eager to see how the Ravenclaw team were going to play and most importantly if they would win.

Agrippina was painted in all green today. Lestat would be out there doing his house proud and she was thrilled! She couldn't wait to see him catch the snitch so Agrippina happily made her way to the stands, her green pixie outfit and face paint standing out amongst the sea of blue. She noticed her head of house and waved at him sheepishly as she sat down. "Go Lestat! I love you!" She shouted as the game began and the players flew out onto the pitch. It was quickly apparent however that Lestat was not having a great day as two bludgers found there way to him. Agrippina cringed visibly and tears pricked her eyes as she watched him struggle, angered at the intent. Still, she supposed this was all part of the game, but that didn't mean she was happy about it.

Analei was excited to watch another Quidditch match. She didn't originally think it would be for her when she first started the school, but since watching a few matches, she couldn't wait to get involved. She just had to get involved. The game took off quickly, and she watched in awe as the players moved gracefully around the field, like it was nothing. Analei was definitely going to have to practice over the holidays, if she wanted any chance of getting in. Being a beater, she decided as she winced when the Gryffindor seeker got hit, was definitely what she wanted to be.

The only reason why Sofia ever wanted to watch a Quidditch game was to let people know how dangerous this sport was. And her brother was on this team. He hadn't played yet and Sofia hoped it stayed that way. It wasn't that she didn't want her brother to be happy, but she had lost her mother to this dangerous sport. She didn't want to lose Gabriel too. Sofia entered the stands and looked out for Lennon. He had the same thoughts as her about quidditch and perhaps that was what brought them so close together.

When the game began Sofia looked at the players that were stupid enough to mount into the air. But when she saw Gabriel playing she frowned. What?! Was he out of his mind. And he played as beater. Why would he do that. The person that murdered her mother was a beater too. Why would he ever want to be like that. Sofia didn't understood it. And than she saw Gabriel hitting a player on the bench. How could he enjoy this sport!! After this game Sofia would take Gabriel apart and yell at him. Sofia went sitting with her arms crossed over eachother.

Gabriella hardly ever watched the Quidditch matches at Hogwarts, but with her sister on the team she felt like she should be making an effort. Still, the busy stands made her a little irritated and she found the game hard to follow. For the life of her, she couldn't understand why some students made such a big deal about such a silly game. It wasn't really that important, and she didn't understand why so many people put all the time in.

Because she was mainly here to support Frankie, she had decided to stay with the Gryffindor supporters. She watched the game, wincing every time someone was struck with a bludger. Frankie's first goal missed, which wasn't that strange considering how new she was at it. But then the second time, Gabriella gasped in surprise as she scored. Without thinking, she cupped her hands around her mouth. "YES! GO FRANKIE!" She shouted, even though it was entirely unlike her. The adrenaline and pride suddenly coursing through her pushed away her usual reservations. Perhaps there really was something to this game.

Jacob had arrived early, eager to watch the match. He couldn't wait to try out next year. It was just a shame that James wouldn't be his captain. Cheering every time the Gryffindors succeeded in hitting the Hufflepuff Seeker, Jacob was really enjoying himself.

Hayley had never paid much attention to Quidditch before. She hadn't been particularly interested in sports before Hogwarts, and learning new, wizard sports with rules that made no sense seemed pointless. Particularly when she had no house pride whatsoever. This game, though, was different. Today she was here to watch a friend play. Being here felt new and uncertain - but then, so did whatever it was she had with Lizzie. Lizzie had kind of asked her out at Pride, and the two of them had spent some time hanging out since then, but they hadn't yet defined their relationship.

Hayley didn't really understand what was going on in the game, so she mainly concentrated on watching Lizzie. That badass beater swing was what had first impressed her about the Gryffindor, and it was even more striking to see her in action. Hayley cheered loudly when Lizzie struck a bludger, even though she didn't hit anything yet. "WOOO! GO LIZZIE!"
