Thanks to Claire coming up with this four years ago, and we get to have it again for another birthday celebration! It has been heaps of fun! Just as a forewarning, this can be a little graphic and gory (my favorite two genres).

Have you wondered how your student would fare in the Hunger Games arena? Do you know how they would react to being out on their own, with other tributes battling it out? Well, this is your chance to do it, and you don't even have to do anything more than just sign up.

That's right, you just sign up, and let me - and another program - do the work. All you need to do is sit back and enjoy! For those of you that have never read the books or watched the film (guilty as charged), basically, rich people throw 24 children in an arena and battle to the death. 1 comes out alive. Sounds awesome, right?

Now, how the game will work is that you can only enter 1 student currently attending HNZ. No recent grads or future sorties. There are 24 slots available. Once we have 24 participants, sign-ups will close, and a special Hunger Games generator will be used to randomly generate the story and the timeline spanning several days and nights, eventually ending with one victor.

The results will be turned into a short story, one chapter of which will be posted every twenty-four hours. When the story ends, the victor will be crowned! This person will receive a special prize on the account of the student they signed up with.

So, all you really need to do is sign up and lurk, fingers crossed that your student makes it. You can read about the last one here, and the first one with Claire's artwork. If she wants to do it this year, hint hint (no pressure dear).

Please be aware, this game/story has a violent nature to it. The entire thing is fictional, the timeline of events is randomly generated, and none of it should be taken seriously. Sign ups start now, and end either when we have enough characters or May 17th.

Elise Ito forces Chase Edwards to kill Morrie Ayre or Doyle Mooney. He refuses to kill, so Elise Ito kills him instead.

Night 3

Elise Ito bashes Doyle Mooney's head against a rock several times.

Morrie Ayre kills Peregrine Piper for her supplies.
