Avery felt confident about practice today. He looked forward to bringing back some familiarity from previous years. The sky was clear, dotted with the occasional cloud, while the pitch below was littered with evenly spaced orbs, cloudy and crackling with a contained storm. The weather balls he’d purchased from Bleak Street were charged and ready to go, and despite the shopkeepers warning, he had no concerns about anything going wrong. One by one he released the storms contained inside, until the sky above the pitch was blanketed in separate, room-sized clouds of thundering grey, a curtain of dense rain coating the formerly dry grass below. It was far from perfect, with gaps between clouds here and there that hadn’t quite been placed as close together as others, but it would do. Avery lowered his imperviused goggles over his eyes to deflect the droplets of water, and turned to the team as they gathered. ”Hello.” He greeted over the howling winds. “We will be practicing in harsher conditions today. We need to secure the cup this year, which means we need to push ourselves. Do your best today.” He continued, before releasing the Quidditch balls from their chest.

The harsher conditions were not fun, but Seamus got on to his broom and by some miracle, immediately hit a bludger. Hitting it straight for one of the young chasers, Enoch or something.

Enoch was surprised when he was immediately hit by a bludger but still managed to grab the quaffle as it was tossed up.

Enoch's hit with the bludger didn't deter him from his task and he managed to score.

Lennox was less than pleased as she reached the Quidditch Pitch. The new captain was terrible. He had made the weather worse for them. Like that was some type of motivation. It just made Lennox angry. If only she was a beater to hit a bludger towards the captain. Sadly, she wasn't. She would just have to prove herself with goals.

Lennox did not manage to grab the quaffle right away. It didn't help that her hair was being ruined by the rain as she flew about. Grumbling to herself, she grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown back into play. She tucked it under her arm, hating this whole thing already. She made her way towards the goal. If she had to suffer in these horrible conditions, she could at least play well.

Enoch followed in behind the other chaser who had gotten the ball after his success at scoring.

Summer followed the older chasers.

Lennox threw the quaffle through the goal, happy to see it soar through. The weather was terrible, but Lennox knew she was amazing in any condition.

Vanity took to the air and tried to hit a bludger, she missed and scowled at it.

Summer wasn't pleased at all with this weather. The rain messed up her field of vision and worse, her hair. Still, she managed to catch the quaffle when it was thrown back and tried to secure it under her arm so it wouldn't slip away now that it was all wet.

Enoch had been hoping for another chance to score, but the other chaser caught the quaffle and he just had to chase behind her.

Summer attempted a shot at the hoops but the quaffle slipped and bounced off the hoop.

Avery was surprised to take a bludger so early. He rubbed his arm and gave Seamus a friendly nod of approval, before flying off to search for the snitch.

Enoch flew forward and grabbed the quaffle after the youngest chaser failed to score.

Seamus managed to hit another bludger and it went straight for Lennox. Not who he'd been aiming for but he knew he'd take it nonetheless.
@Lennox Addison

Enoch tossed the quaffle but it went completely wide.

When no one else went for the quaffle, Enoch surged forward and grabbed the ball.

Enoch flew in close and was pleased to actually manage to score.
