Slytherin Quidditch Practice Y44 S1

Mish chased a bludger.
 
Celia sighed when @Terror Zhefarovich missed again. She didn't understand why the chasers were having so much trouble. There were three enormous hoops and one second-year keeper. Surely scoring a goal wasn't that hard. She hit a bludger towards the chaser.

Celia watched Avery zoom by, glad that he had finally upgraded his broom. She sped off on her own Streak and launched a bludger towards @Ivelisse Burleigh.

Celia tailed a bludger for a bit before sending it soaring towards @Mischa Falter-Butera.

So did Celia. In an effort to help Avery out, she nailed @Toby Oikawa with a bludger.

Celia swerved around one of her teammates to catch up with a bludger, which she sent barreling towards @Seamus Reid.

Avery's grip tightened on his broom as Celia swerved around him. The fall from here was a lot more serious if he managed to be shaken off his broom.
 
Celia paused for a moment to survey her team. They weren't looking great, but there was still a lot of time left in practice. She hit a bludger towards @Avery Lancaster.

The air was knocked out of Avery's chest, and for a moment he thought his soul might follow. He doubled over his broom, trying desperately to suck the oxygen back into his lungs.
 
Celia frowned as Avery doubled over. That wasn't ideal (for him, at least). However, he hadn't fallen off his broom or died, so she assumed he would be fine. She flew off to injure @Atlas James-Cade.

Celia raced one of the other beaters and moved to intercept the bludger, sending it soaring towards @Horror Zhefarovich.

Avery straightened up and took a breath, in time to see the snitch flittering past. Any aches in his body momentarily vanished, pushed aside by the sudden surge of adrenaline. He gave chase, following the snitch across the pitch until finally, he had it in his grasp again.
 
Celia was momentarily distracted when Avery rushed off and caught the snitch. She decided to hit a bludger at @Ivelisse Burleigh both to get her attention and to punish her for not catching the snitch first.

Ivelisse wasn't sure how many times she had been hit by a bludger now but she tried to keep pushing through.
 
Celia flew closer to the hoops and knocked a bludger towards @Lennox Addison.

Toby couldn't help but grumble when the other alternate caught the snitch again.
