Slytherin Quidditch Practice Y43 S1

Seamus was really frustrated as he hit the bludger in the wrong direction again, he was better than this.
 
Indi was impressed that Natalia managed to get the quaffle through the hoop on her first try but she was not about to be outdone and she grabbed the quaffle once it was tossed back into the game.
 
Ivelisse kept looking.
 
Mischa was not getting very lucky as he tried to hit another bludger, but missed.
 
Celia glanced down at her watch, frowning when she noted the time. If this were a match, they would have likely lost already. She set off in search of a bludger to hopefully light a fire under the seekers. One of them should have caught the snitch by now.
 
Ive flew a little closer to the stands.
 
Mish was still not having much luck on his end.
 
As Celia chased after the bludger, it suddenly shot backwards towards her. She raised her bat and reflexively smacked it into the nearest player, who happened to be @Mischa Falter-Butera. Celia felt a little bad, but not terribly so since Mischa was one of the few players armed with a bat and the means to defend himself.

Ive searched.
 
It was a good thing he was paying attention because he managed to notice the bludger coming for him. Unfortunately, he barely had enough time to hit it and instead of heading towards a seeker or someone more worth hitting, it went right back at @Celia Vuong. "Oops."

Celia had already moved on, so the bludger hit came as a shock. It slammed into her right shoulder blade, and she nearly dropped her bat. Celia closed her eyes briefly, trying to remind herself that she would much rather have a competent beater on the team than an incompetent one. When she glanced up, she was surprised to see that the bludger had come from Mischa. She gave him a small nod of approval before flying on.

It hadn't escaped Celia's notice that @Seamus Reid had so far failed to hit anyone. While her changes to the alternate system were mostly targeted towards the seekers, she wouldn't hesitate to replace him with Mischa if necessary. Deciding that Seamus needed a little extra motivation, Celia chased after the bludger that had hit her and smacked it towards him.

Atlas watched as Indira took the quaffle and made her own way towards the hoops, Atlas decided to follow the other chaser to see if she would have a chance to steal.
 
Indi shifted her grip on the quaffle as she reached the hoops and tossed it in with relative ease. She grinned but wished Lucie presented as some kind of challenge.
 
Celia frowned when Lucie failed to block another goal. To be fair, Indi and Natalia were some of the best chasers at the school. Still, she considered lobbing another bludger towards the keeper.
 
As Lucie turned up to practice and listened to Celia's speech, she simply rolled her eyes. She didn't care about any of the new rules and was just keen to play. She headed up into the sky, missing the first two shots. She giggled a little as Celia seemed angry with her, and even hit a bludger towards her. There was no way hitting a bludger towards her was going to make her any better at the game, and perhaps Lucie would even purposely miss the shots just to see how far she could take it. She threw the quaffle back out into play.
 
Celia was shaken from her thoughts when a bludger swerved toward her. She dodged and turned to give chase. While she wanted to hit it towards the seekers, they were on the other side of the pitch. So instead she aimed for @Atlas James-Cade, who was nearby.

Indi sighed and decided her teammates were too slow so she grabbled the quaffle again and started making her way around the pitch.
 
Indi raced around the pitch and grinned as she saw the hoops come into view. With a flick of her wrist the quaffle soared though the air and she made another goal. Two in a row wasn't too bad. Not bad at all.
 
Celia was glad to see Indi score again though she also wanted to see the younger chasers step up their efforts. She hit a bludger towards Lennox. The ball ended up sailing harmlessly past the chaser, but Celia hoped the message had still come through.
 
Ivelisse noticed a hint of gold and shot after it without hesitation, quickly wrapping her fingers around the snitch before it could get away.
 
Avery caught sight of Ivelisse catching the snitch, and paused in his flying, a little disappointed he hadn't been the first. Once it had flown away again, he continued his pursuit. Maybe he'd make up the time, though whatever happened, happened.
