Trying to play through the pain, Mischa chased after the bludger which had just hit him, managing to catch up and strongly whack it across the pitch towards @Ivelisse Burleigh. At least he could still hit things.

Natalia scored again, the quaffle sailing through the middle hoop easily.

Celia was glad to see Mischa hit one of the seekers again. She was about to fly off after the bludger when the other one came hurtling towards her. Celia knocked it away and into @Indira Khatri.

Celia took a second to stretch before flying after a bludger.

Ivelisse was feeling very done with this practice but had heard how saying something had worked out for Natalia so just gritted her teeth and kept going.

[Natalia Novak]

Natalia was just looking to see where the other chasers were, when a bludger hit her in the side. She very nearly yelled out in frustration but instead took a deep breath. "Taking five." She said, though she didn't particularly care if Celia heard or approved. She descended, sitting down on the bench for alternates to take a breather. After scoring non-stop, she figured she deserved a break. They all did, honestly, but Celia seemed determined to be entirely unlikeable as captain. Natalia almost dared her to say something, she would go straight to Professor Castillo if she did.


OOC: I don't necessarily need Natalia's counter reset or anything, just wanted to RP her being a bit fed up. She'll rejoin practice soon (after I wake up haha)

Avery wasn't too surprised to see Natalia flying down to the benches after that last bludger hit. He would have liked to do the same. Everything ached, and he was tired, but if there was a chance he could play in the next game by performing best, he wanted to take it.

Mischa was absolutely not surprised to see someone taking a break. They all needed a break, himself included. He was almost tempted to go and join the older girl on the bench himself.

Celia studied Natalia for a moment, trying to determine if the chaser actually needed a break or if she was just being a diva. She wasn't going to stop anyone who needed a break from taking one since she'd much rather them lose practice time than fall off their broom and die. But she was also more than happy to permanently bench anyone who abused this policy. There were no breaks during games, after all. Celia turned towards the seekers and frowned, wondering why it was taking them so long to find the snitch. It surely couldn't have anything to do with the fact that they'd taken seven bludgers each.

Celia smacked a bludger and watched it sail into @Seamus Reid.

Celia caught up with the bludger and hit it towards @Avery Lancaster to stop him from chasing the snitch.

Avery didn't know how he'd be able to find the snitch again when it felt like a bludger was hitting him every other moment. He couldn't focus on what he was supposed to do when he had to try avoiding bludgers all the time instead. He wasn't a big person, and each one felt like it might break him. Celia was too good at what she was doing, which he supposed is why she was captain, but this was getting frustrating.

Natalia took her time resting, taking a moment to drink some water and re-tie her ponytail. She was a little disappointed no one joined her, but guessed Celia had scared them all too much with her talk of benching people. Natalia wad fairly secure in her position, but also knew that if she did get benched for taking a break she would be going to Professor Castillo. She was considering it anyway, with Celia shaping up to he a tyrant of a captain. Natalia took back to the air and grabbed the quaffle, looking for someone to pass to.
