Slytherin Quidditch Practice Y37/S2/V2

Blake had been working on his awareness, and he noticed the bludger whizzing towards him, moving to get out of the way. As he did though, Daintree was even quicker, and he was grateful that the beater shot it out of the way. Looking away from Daintree once he was sure he was safe, Blake's eyes widened as they fell on the snitch, just below him. Blake wasted no time, dropping from the sky like a falcon, arm outstretched towards the tiny golden ball, and a moment later he was rising again in triumph, the snitch clutched in his hand. That was more like it. Blake released the snitch after a moment, giving it a second to get away before returning to his pursuit.

As soon as Liusaidh was close she threw the ball hard and cheered happily for herself loudly. She'd managed to score!

Ruben watched as Blake caught the snitch. The second year boy was now more determined to catch it too so he could prove the team's captain that he was just as good as him.

After giving the snitch a decent head start, Blake headed off in the direction he thought it might have gone. To his surprise, it wasn't long until he spotted the golden ball again, shooting off towards it as quick as he could fly. Blake's fingers closed around the snitch for a second time, and he grinned broadly before releasing it again. Finally. This was more like it.

Ruben was finding the irony of this game pretty amusing, Blake had caught the snitch once more. The boy kept the searching going once the captain released the snitch again

Mordred was not a fan of the new chaser, but he disliked missing shots more. He threw the quaffle back into play.

Ruben kept flying around the pitch looking for the golden orb.

After giving the snitch more of a headstart Blake flew back into action, returning for his search and hoping to get in another catch or two before practice was over.

When no one else went for the ball, Liusaidh rushed forward and grabbed the ball. She could score again. She would score again.

Daintree continued in his pursuit of another bludger.

Mordred watched as the second year grab the quaffle and made her way around again.

Heartened by the success, Blake flew on in better spirits than before, searching the pitch in the hopes of catching the snitch again.

Daintree crossed paths with a bludger and hit it hard, this time it raced towards the young chaser with the ball, Liusaidh or something. He just needed to get good at hitting it, not necessarily good at hitting it towards a seeker.

Liusaidh went to score and right as she was throwing she was hit hard with a bludger. She cursed loudly and assumed that that was why she ended up missing the hoops entirely.

Jasper grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown back into play after Liusaidh's attempt. He tucked it under his arm and sped off with it.

Ruben was flying around the pitch, still looking for the snitch.

Blake flew lower as he searched, trying to find any signs of the snitch closer to the ground.

Blake flew a slow circle around the lower levels of the pitch, looking for any signs of the snitch.
