Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y45 S1

Savannah did not catch the snitch.
 
Michael was glad to see scoring, even though it meant he needed to block better. But it was good the chasers were quickly improving, he thought as he tossed the quaffle back into play.
 
Audrey was feeling a but sorry for herself, not only was she having no success but she also got hit by a bludger she should have been able to deflect. She groaned at the unfortunately familiar pain.
 
Savannah did not catch the snitch.
 
Zacharias flew over and caught the Quaffle that their keeper threw back in to play and got himself ready for his next attempt at goal.
 
Michael focused, not wanting to go easy on the chasers now they were really getting into it.
 
Audrey flew after a bludger.
 
Michael tried to avoid scratching his chin, though it was a bit itchy. Shaving was such a pain.
 
Audrey looked incredulous as she finally caught up with the bludger, but it completely missed hitting anyone. Why was she playing so badly today?
 
Zacharias lined up his shot and watched with frustration as it completely missed the hoop.
 
"Ow!" Lucy said to being hit, then saw who had done it and waved, smiling. She then noticed the quaffle was free, and swooped down to grab it, getting herself mentally and physically ready to take a shot.
 
As much as Michael wanted the younger chasers to do well, he also was quietly relieved when they missed for his own ego. Now he understood how Sawyer had felt.
 
Audrey was pretty frustrated, but she controlled her breathing and tried to focus. The perfect opportunity came up, and she sent a bludger right to the captain, @Hamish Reid . She grinned when she saw that it hit, as much as she didn't necessarily want to annoy the captain he did happen to be their seeker so it was in their best interest that she hit him.

Hamish jumped when he was hit unexpectedly with a bludger. "Ow," He muttered, rubbing his arm. "Great shot! Keep it up!" He called to the beaters as he continued his search.
 
Lucy readied herself, flying through the air before halting and throwing her swing. She failed again, but at least she was getting in her practice. Maybe if she spun the quaffle just a bit more to the left next time...
 
Monday continued on his flight.
 
Lucy grabbed the quaffle once more, and prepared to try to take the goal a little bit more to the left this time.
 
Michael battled some internal account-swapping demons as he prepared for chaser-Lucy's next attempt on goal. The enthusiasm these chasers showed, they'd be giving Hufflepuff a run for their money in no time.
 
Audrey preened a little, as she attempted to follow it up with a quick second. It went past Hamish and hit @Rory Styx , though. She shrugged, at least it hit someone but she would have to try and focus her aim a little more.

Lucy grabbed the quaffle again, this time she was going to make it for sure. She was determined.
 
Hamish continued his search.
 
Michael put his game face on, even though he was not exactly an intimidating person.
 
Audrey saw an opening and sent a bludger right towards @Lucy Holland in retaliation for hitting her earlier. Was it mean to hit first years with bludgers? Probably. But they had to get used to them too, right?

Monday hit a bludger, but it changed direction before it hit anyone.
 
Michael winced at the bludger hits flying around, a little relieved he wasn't responsible for the hits anymore.
