Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y40 S2

Taking a shaky breath, Finn tried to calm down and steady himself as he flew on.
 
Sawyer leant on his broom, content to catch his breath for the moment when he wasn't in imminent danger of having a goal scored on him.
 
Swallowing down his fear, Finn flew higher to chase after one of the bludgers.
 
Branson grabbed the ball when it was thrown back out.
 
Valeria completely missed as she attempted to hit another bludger.
 
Xiuying followed closely behind brandon, waiting for a chance to possibly steel the ball.
 
Finn flew higher and caught up with a bludger, hitting it hard. He groaned when the ball flew harmlessly through the air, hitting noone.
 
As soon as he was close Bran threw the ball, very happy when it sailed through the hoop.
 
Valeria managed to find another bludger and hit it, very pleased when it sailed through the air and hit one of the seekers.

Hamish yelped as he was hit with a bludger, and continued on his search.
 
Valerius was annoyed with his lack of success but didn't give up, continuing to look for the snitch.
 
Making his way lower in the air again, Finn flew towards another bludger and swung, shocked when he hit one of the chasers.

Valerius continued his search for the snitch.
 
Finn couldn't believe how well he was playing, already certain he would be writing home to Odette about this.
 
Sawyer winced as Xiuying took a bludger hit as well, his eyes on the chasers more now that they were due to head back his way after Branson's shot.
 
Sawyer caught his mind drifting to the upcoming match, the fact that Juniper was graduating, that Ravenclaw was up for the cup and that they might actually have a chance at winner. It was all a bit much and he dragged his attention quickly back to focusing on the quaffle, shaking the thoughts off with a shake of his head.
 
Xiuying caught the quaffle when it was thrown back, making her way towards the hoops. She yelped slightly in pain as she was hit by a bludger.
 
Sawyer was impressed that Xiuying could keep a grip on the quaffle after taking a bludger, glad he wasn't expected to hold onto it for long himself.
 
Axel was happy he hadn't been hit by a bludger yet. He circled the hoops, waiting for a Chaser to come back his way.
 
When Xiuying was close enough to the hoops, she threw the quaffle towards the middle hoop. But completely missed.
 
Sawyer leant back some as Xiuying took her shot at Axel's end of the pitch, content that he and Axel were doing a decent job fending off the chasers now.
 
Juniper felt like ever since she'd become captain, her beater skills had fallen, and she really hoped to get back into shape before the next game. It was so important.
 
Sawyer gave Juniper a little wave as she went past, knowing he was pushing his luck when she had her bat up like that but unable to resist.
 
Juniper saw Sawyer wave at her and stuck her tongue out before smacking a bludger at him. "You can't make friends with the other team," she laughed, knowing these bludgers didn't hurt as bad as real ones, at least. @Sawyer Carnahan
