Ravenclaw Practice Y38 S2

Finn spotted another bludger nearby and wobbled over to it, swinging as hard as he could, but his angle was all off and the ball once again flew harmlessly away from the rest of the team.

Juniper caught Finn trying to hit another bludger and was glad she wasn't the only one being unsuccessful today.

Sawyer knew he should want to encourage the beaters like any other teammates, but it was a relief to see them out there not hitting anyone for a bit.

Sawyer saw Juniper swing her bat one way and didn't register the bludger had other ideas until it was about to hit him. "Juniper... Why... I thought we had a deal," he wheezed, gripping his broom as he tried to shake off the hit.

Juniper couldn't help but giggle a little bit and didn't want to reveal that her bludger didn't quite hit her target. "All's fair in quidditch," she joked, winking at him as she twirled her bat around.

Minnie wasn't sure if this was a slightly rogue snitch as she spotted it again and in no time had crossed the distance and managed to grab it. She was pretty surprised with herself, now hopefully she could do it in the game.

Branson caught the quaffle and then began heading towards the hoops again.

Juniper was too distracted by Sawyer and felt a bludger nearby, watching as it quickly moved across the pitch. She followed it closely, hitting it hard and watching it hit @Alison Young

Even though he was pretty sure she was laughing at him and not with him, Sawyer still liked to think hearing a pretty girl like Juniper laugh about something he'd said help ease the ache from the bludger. He straightened up a bit on his broom, surprised to see Minnie had grabbed the snitch again.

Juniper was surprised by how many times Minnie had caught the snitch and hoped that would bode well for their upcoming game. Her eyes darted back and forth on the pitch, looking for a good hit.

Juniper had managed to hit two chasers so far and Sawyer hoped it wasn't putting them off their game.

Juniper felt a little lull in her energy but quickly perked up when she saw a bludger nearby, starting to fly after it.

Sawyer kept an eye on Branson and the quaffle even as they headed towards the other end of the pitch.

Wobbling nearby his fellow beater, Finn spotted Juniper hitting a bludger on a slightly wrong angle and flew after it, hoping he could redirect the shot towards Minnie. His aim was slightly off though, and Finn's heart sank as he watched the bludger fly right back and strike the person who had first hit it.

@Juniper Zumwalt

It always sucked to see a member of the team take a bludger, but Sawyer always thought it was a bit more fair when it was one of their beaters. At least they had a bat.

As soon as he was close Branson attempt to throw the ball and was sad when he missed.

Minnie let go of the snitch and then watched the game below her. She would give the snitch a little time before she went after it again.

Juniper wasn't quite prepared to hit away the bludger that came after her, knicking it with her bat so it collided with her chin. She felt the bones of her face buzz and shook her head, trying not to be mad at Finn.

Branson wasn't able to make his shot and Sawyer watched from the other end of the pitch, ready for when the chasers came back his way.

Juniper rubbed her chin as the pain slowly drifted away and started to fly slowly out in the middle of the field, looking for a good chance to hit something.

As relieved as he was to have at least hit someone, Finn didn't love hitting his teammates, and he wobbled away from Juniper quickly, looking for another bludger.

Sawyer drifted back and forth in front of the hoops, trying to stay on guard.
