Ravenclaw Practice Y38 S2

Minnie began once more, her search for the snitch.

With one successful goal, Bran was quite happy but when he caught the ball he began circling back to try again.

Branson had the quaffle again and was headed his way, so Sawyer slowed down his circling some just to be ready.

Juniper was frustrated by her instant lack of aggressive hits. She kept an eye on the other players while she waited for a good one to fly by.

Sawyer did his best to stay focused on the quaffle and not on the beaters as they knocked a few bludgers around.

Lars kept his eye on the quaffle and waited to see if the chaser would come his way.

Finn spotted a nearby bludger and wobbled towards it, striking the ball as hard as he could, but it didn't fly nearly far enough to hit any of his teammates.

Juniper saw Finn get a hit in, hoping he made contact but frowned when it seemed to go array. “You got this, Finn!” she shouted across the pitch, trying to be encouraging.

Finn knew the encouragement from his fellow beater should embolden him, but he couldn't help shrinking slightly at the realisation that his terrible performance was being watched. He was the brother of famous beater Odette Madison, and here he was, bringing absolute shame to her.

Sawyer could feel his broom drifting away from the hoops as he got distracted watching the other players. Shaking his head, he righted himself, moving back to be more center of the goals.

Juniper saw the bludger Finn had just hit circle towards her and attempted to whack it towards one of the chasers. However, it quickly veered left and out of the players’ way.

As soon as he was close he threw the ball, and was fairly disappointed when he missed completely. At least he'd managed to score once so far.

Minnie continued to search for the snitch.

Juniper saw one of the younger chasers attempt to score and then was immediately distracted by a noise near her ear. But it was just a bee.

Sawyer didn't think he was the most graceful when he moved to block Branson's shot, but thankfully it didn't seem to matter as it sailed past him and the hoops. He grabbed the quaffle, throwing it back out.

Lars felt a little bad about letting the quaffle go through, but he hoped it at least gave the young chaser some confidence.

Sawyer winced when he saw Juniper knock a bludger into Hattie, unable to help himself flinching with the bludger coming past nearby even if he hadn't been hit.

OOC: I hit the button hours ago and forgot to post x_x

Juniper was glad she hit one person and sat back on her broom, waiting rather than chasing.

Minnie wasn't finding it so quickly this time around, but she just had to keep looking.

Sawyer kept an eye on the rest of the game as he sat on his broom, feeling himself drift every so slightly.

Sawyer wasn't sure if his eyes were playing tricks on him, or maybe it was some kind of special beater manuever, but it certainly looked like Juniper was trying to dance with a bludger.

Juniper was swerving back and forth to catch up with the bludger and took a scene, watching as it sailed off and hit... no one.

Whatever dance Juniper was doing seemed to have ended with a smack from her beater bat. Sawyer would be lying if he hadn't ducked a little, on instinct, but thankfully it didn't hit anyone.
