The new Quidditch season was starting, which meant they had to practice. The stakes hadn't been this high in a while, and Lars was nervous about it. This was his final chance to become Hogwarts champion with his team, but he also knew that beating Slytherin would really hurt Blake. He was torn for that very reason, though he didn't share that with his co-captain. For her sake he really hoped they won this upcoming match, he knew how important it was to Minnie and how much pressure she felt. Lars hoped that today's practice would help ease her mind. Hopefully the snitch would be kind to her today. At least the weather was nice, sunny but not too warm.

Lars waited for everyone to arrive. "We're not going to waste much time with speeches and stuff today." He said. "Let's just start practicing, we all know we need to work hard." He smiled. "Good luck." He then released the balls and flew over to the northern hoops, indicating to Sawyer that he should guard the southern ones.

OOCOut of Character:
No arrivals, let's just start!

Minnie arrived at the pitch and after listening to what Lars said nodded in agreement. She got on her broom and into the air. She wasn't flying for long when the snitch flew directly into her path, she on instinct grabbed it and laughed lightly at the fast catch, hopefully it would be that fast in the upcoming game but she doubted it. She let it loose and would give it some time before she chased it down again.

Branson got to the pitch and nodded. He flew up into the air and caught it as it was thrown out. He grabbed it and began heading towards the hoops.

Sawyer was pretty psyched that Ravenclaw was in the finals this year, even if he'd spent the season on the bench. He nodded as Lars addressed them, flying over to the Southern hoops and wondering what the team would be like without him next year. He'd barely even settled down to watch Branson with the quaffle when Minnie grabbed the snitch. In awe, Sawyer had to wonder if they actually had a solid shot of winning the cup this year.

Minnie spent a moment watching the other players began playing, she would give the snitch a moment before she went back after it.

Branson got close to the hoops and threw the ball, disappointed when it missed. hopefully he'd have more luck next time.

Straightening up as Branson got closer, Sawyer tried to emulate Minnie's good start, moving to block his shot. It wasn't nearly as smooth as it could have been, but he did manage to get his hands on the quaffle enough to knock it away from the hoops, so he considered it a win.

Minnie having now hopefully given the snitch enough time to fly away, began to search for it again.

Lars kept his eye on the quaffle as it would probably come in his direction again soon.

Sawyer dusted off his hands after throwing the quaffle back out to the chasers. It felt good to be back playing again.

Minnie couldn't believe how quickly the snitch was then in front of her and she reached out, racing after it and caught it. She held up happily and took a moment to watch the players below.

Branson caught the ball as it was thrown back out and began circling back around to try scoring again.

Sawyer tried to keep an eye on the chasers as Branson caught the quaffle but was distracted when he saw Minnie on the move again. If she was this fast during their game, Slytherin wouldn't stand a chance.

Minnie let go of the snitch as she watched the game below her.

When Branson got close to the hoops, he threw the ball and was surprised when he scored. He wasn't expecting it, but he was pretty pleased with himself.

Sawyer was impressed Branson managed to score a goal, though it did mean the chasers should be heading his way soon again and he'd need to be on point.

Although it wasn't likely that he would be playing, Finn was still nervous for the upcoming Quidditch match. He had been practicing, but he knew for a fact that he wasn't the best player on the pitch, and Slytherin were such a strong side, the thought of playing against them was terrifying. Taking off with the rest of his teammates, Finn gripped his bat and began looking for a bludger to hit.

Sawyer tried to keep an eye out for bludgers as well as the quaffle. He hoped his rose to Juniper would encourage her to keep them away from him at least for a little while though.

Juniper saw a bludger in the distant and locked eyes with it, quickly swerving through her teammates in an attempt to hit. However, her smack sent the bludger out of the stadium bounds.

Sawyer watched with mild interest as Juniper sent a bludger flying out of the stadium, wondering idly how long before it'd be back on the pitch menacing them all again.

It always took Finn a while to get his bearings in the air, so he mostly hung back trying to collect himself before making any swings.

The worst part about playing keeper, in Sawyer's opinion, was how little he got to move around. It was hot just sitting still in the sun, and as he waited for the chasers to get closer, Sawyer allowed himself to circle the hoops a little, just to feel the air move around him and cool off.

Juniper cursed when her bludger went array and sat back on her broom, frustrated that she didn't practic more over the break. She could of at least hit softballs around even if her parents wouldn't let her fly.
