Ravenclaw Practice; One

She was having no luck but Minnie wasn't going to give up just yet. There was still plenty time to find the snitch.

Branson hoped that whoever caught the ball next and went to the hoops would have better luck than he had had.

Sawyer tried to ignore the lingering ache for the bludger so he could be ready for whoever came his way with the quaffle.

Finn couldn't believe he had actually managed to hit someone in his first practice, and he knew he would be writing home to tell Odette all about it. He righted himself on his broom and flew on, wondering if he'd manage a second shot.

Hattie was a little bit disappointed when the younger chaser took the quaffle from her, but was also eager for him to score so he could practice at the game considering he was a new player. Looking around her, the beaters were doing well and Hattie just hoped the chasers would catch up soon. The teen took the quaffle again as it was thrown back out, this time heading for Sawyer.

Juniper felt good about her hits so far and started to feel more adrenaline pumping as she flew around the pitch.

The moment Alison took for the skies on her very first practice she was hit with a bludger. "Dumb*ss," Alison cussed out in agony, the pain stung her shoulder badly. "Verbal slip up," Alison explained, wide eyed. Whoops, she's going to need not to do that, or, surely she'll make trouble for the team.

Hattie flew as fast as she could towards the hoops, and when she came close enough she aimed for the middle hoop and attempted to score. Unfortunately, it was caught by the keeper and Hattie sighed as she waited for it to be thrown back out.

Juniper recovered from her bee incident and watched as Hattie tried to score unsuccessfully. At least it meant the keepers were doing well.

Finn gripped his broom and bat tightly as he flew on, hoping he might be able to get another hit in somewhere and have even more to write home to Odette about.

Juniper kept an eye on the other beaters, wondering how well they fair in their first game. Hufflepuff had some decent players, but it seemed like they probably had a chance.

Minnie spotted the glint of gold and chased after it. She caught it in her hand and smiled. She held it up, taking a moment to enjoy having caught it before letting it go.

Branson caught the ball as it was thrown back out and began circling back to try to score again.

Lars kept an eye on the chasers and the quaffle, getting ready to defend the hoops again.

2a.

Alison stole the quaffle, taking her chances to score, she speeds ahead.

Chloe flew around the pitch, noticing how good the beaters were doing. Minnie caught the snitch, to which Chloe smiled. She still hadn't found any bludgers to hit, which was frustrating.

Thalia was both surprised and sad that Tee had left the team, it was a mystery to her as to why she would do that. She sighed as she mounted her broom and did a couple of laps as a warm-up before she chased after the quaffle, unable to intercept it for now. She followed alongside Alison in case the girl wanted to pass to her.

Sawyer saw Hattie heading his way and tried to center himself on the hoops. He was just able to get enough of a hand on it when she made her shot that he could knock it away safely, relieved as he threw it back out. He tried to keep an eye on the chasers as they headed back towards Lars, but was briefly distracted when Minnie managed to quietly catch the snitch, smiling excitedly as she held it aloft.

Minnie after taking a moment to watch how others were doing began to look for the snitch again.

Branson was a little disappointed when the chaser managed to get the ball out his grasp but he just followed them towards the hoops.

It was interesting watching the chasers work together (or against each other) as they travelled across the pitch, though Sawyer did his best to watch out for bludgers still.

Alison, took her best shot at aiming for one of the hoops. Unfortunately, the arm she used still stung from before. Which in turned didn't help to get that shot in. "Dumb*ss arm," she grumbled in pain.
