Quidditch Game: Slytherin vs Gryffindor

Terror made it to the goal, and went in to throw it but was momentarily distracted when his twin was hit by their own teammate. The throw went too wide.

Well, that wasn’t good. She probably should have just aimed for the Gryffindor keeper’s head.

Vanity snorted when Alana hit the wrong person, how embarrassing. She failed to hit anyone herself, but that was less bad.

Miro continued to fly around in search of a bludger, trying to chase after one but losing it in the chaos of the other players flying around him.

If Ignatius noticed the bludgers, he might have felt a bit of schadenfreude. However, he was focused on the snitch he wasn't finding.

Santiago spotted a bludger off to his right and reached out to hit it just in time, and he grinned as it soared across the pitch to hit the other teams seeker again. @Ignatius Wolffort

Milo's heart lept when he realized the glimmer he had been chasing had in fact been the snitch, putting on a burst of speed as he caught up to it. Ignatius had already pulled away earlier and Milo grinned as Santiago kept him even further at bay with a well timed bludger hit. The snitch dodged like it intended to change directions and Milo swerved, hand out on a gamble, his heart fast in his chest as his fingers closed around it. He'd done it, just like that, he'd timed it perfectly and the snitch had practically flown into his hands.

"That's how you do it, hell yeah!" He called, pumping his closed fist around the snitch up into the air. Milo couldn't believed he was actually pleased with Santiago right now, but he couldn't ignore the assist, giving the beater a bright grin as he did a short victory lap around the pitch.

"Gryffindor wins!" Reeve declared as the Gryffindor seeker brought an end to the game. With a grin, the referee moved to begin the clean up process as the teams settled in to celebrate or commiserate.
