Quidditch Game: Ravenclaw vs Ilvermorny

Zoey could feel the pressure but she did her best to keep calm and focus on finding the snitch.

Melrose couldn't help but check over his shoulder, not relishing the idea of joining Nabi in the hospital wing, before quickly snapping his eyes back to track what the keeper was doing with the quaffle.

Zoey kept searching.

Michael really hoped someone would find the snitch soon, tossing the quaffle back into play.

Audrey gave Monday a withering look, tempted to fling a bludger at him for good measure.

Melrose shifted as the Kiwi's keeper threw the quaffle back into play. He didn't have a good read on where the other chasers were behind him but if he was fast maybe he could intercept it or at least get in the way a bit.

Lucy retrieved the quaffle as it was thrown back into play. She kept an eye on the opposing team's chasers - one, she noted, seemed to be having a bad time getting goals through the hoops. She momentarily felt a pang of sympathy - she knew what that felt like - but quickly got her head into the game, weaving her way out of the players who had conglomerated at the end of the pitch and making her way to the other goal posts.

Zoey was starting to grow frustrated.

Lucy, a little bit overconfident, tried to go for the middle hoop, expecting an easy goal. It was blocked easily, leaving Lucy dissatisfied. But at least she was doing her bit for the team.

Well, at least this time when the bludger didn't collide with the seeker it collided with someone actually on the pitch, thought Audrey, watching as it hit @Ocean Keeley instead.

Zoey kept searching.

Larissa looked for another bludger.

Monday whacked a bludger away from him, but did not hit anyone.

Audrey didn't hit a bludger either.

Zoey didn't see the snitch anywhere.

Audrey chased after a bludger.

Zoey still didn’t see the snitch at all.

Monday could not find another bludger to hit.

Larissa needed another bludger to knock out the Ravenclaw seeker.

The writer was mildly distracted but finally had Hadrian take up the quaffle before it could be stolen off him.

Michael was concerned this match was looking kind of rough.

Audrey wasn't, as she flew after another bludger.

Melrose could already feel his stamina waning and after having multiple failed goals he was glad to play backup when Hadrian grabbed the quaffle.

Hadrian looked to Melrose, went to fake a pass and quickly moved to score instead. Weirdly, it worked.

Michael was extremely disheartened that that happened, and tossed the quaffle back out.
