Quidditch Game: Ravenclaw vs Ilvermorny

Audrey aimed at the seeker, but apparently her bat really, really had it out for the actual seeker and wanted to ensure she wasn't going to be rejoining the game. She blinked a few times, quite confused and somewhat embarrassed.

Lucy soared forward, doing a brief fake-out where she made it look like she was going for the left hoop, then at the last minute went for the right. It flew through, marking another score for the Ravenclaw team.
 
Audrey flew around after bludgers, trying to save face.
 
Hadrian nervously took up the quaffle.
 
Michael grinned as Lucy scored, and tried really hard not to laugh as the bludger went way off to the benches.
 
Audrey chased after a bludger and hit it towards the Ilvermorny players, but it didn't connect.
 
Hadrian took a shot at the goal, but didn't make it through this time.
 
Michael exhaled in relief as the shot was blocked and sent the quaffle back out towards his team.
 
Rory grabbed the quaffle when it was played out by Michael and began making his way back towards the hoops.
 
For some reason, Audrey's bludgers seemed to be cursed to hit the wrong seeker, and kept pelting the poor girl on the bench.

Once he got close enough to the hoops Rory again took a shot and watched it go through the hoops.
 
Zoey kept looking for the snitch.

[Realized I forgot to bench Nabi. Not that that's stopped bludgers before. But maybe that will help Audrey's aim.]
 
Savannah did not catch the snitch.
 
Zoey could feel her palms sweating as she kept flying and searching.
 
Melrose groaned as New Zealand took the lead, grabbing the quaffle with sweaty palms. At least Zoey was managing to avoid any bludgers so far but their bench was looking rough and for once Melrose was glad he wasn't on it.
 
The search continued.
 
Savannah did not catch the snitch.
 
With each passing minute Zoey's nerves grew. Somehow she had avoided bludgers so far and wanted to keep it that way.
 
Melrose's heart was in his throat as he shot across the pitch but the speed wasn't enough to get past New Zealand's keeper. He grimaced, ducking his head to avoid looking too much at the gathered crowd or his teammates.
 
Larissa was not a fan of seeing one of the Ravenclaw beaters just pelt Nabi. She narrowed her eyes and found a bludger and hit it at @Savannah Walters for good measure. She beamed as she hit their seeker again.
 
Monday gave the other beater on his team a weird look as her aim was extremely terrible today. At least she didn't hit herself.
 
Savannah did not catch the snitch.
 
Melrose drifted near the hoops, trying to keep his head in the game and on the opposing chasers and not think too hard about how many goals everyone but him had managed today. At least the beaters were having a better go of it, which might help swing things more in their favor.
 
Zoey kept looking for the snitch.
 
Savannah did not catch the snitch.
