Gryffindor, SlytherinThe winner of today's game would walk away with the quidditch cup and bragging rights. The referee knew that for some those were of equal value. Whatever they were playing for, today was sure to be a fun game. The pitch was ready and the stands continued to fill up as the referee waited for the captains and the teams to take their places on the pitch. The weather was pleasant for Autumn, a slight chill in the air but nothing too unpleasant.

Felix hoped he'd get a chance to play today, given the sacrifices he'd had to make during the practice session. Dressed in a clear pair of Quidditch robes, he lingered on the pitch and waited to see who would be making up the team that afternoon. He knew it was important match too, one that would determine whether they kept the trophy for another year, and he wasn't about to let it get out of their hands on his watch.

Rose was ready, she knew she wouldn't be playing Keeper, but that was okay, after all, Teddy knew what he was doing and she mostly trusted him to do the right thing.

Sybil wasn’t thrilled with her performance during practice but she was silently hoping that during the game things would click for her. Maybe she just has trouble playing against her teammates? She kept her eyes on the ground not wanting to look at the crowd with her nerves already running wild. She waited with her grip tight on her broom as she waited for the whistle.

Santiago very well knew this might be his last quidditch game ever. He had never been as passionate as some of his teammates but he was starting to get it. He wanted to win. He scanned the crowd hoping he’d see his girlfriend but the sun was bright and he couldn’t see much of anything as he peered up to the stands. He swung his bat a few times keeping his arms warmed up as he waited for the game to finally start.

Teddy stepped onto the pitch, grateful for the pleasant skies for their championship game. It was also Fraser and Santiago's last game if they didn't win, which made Teddy even more driven to beat Slytherin today for one more match with his current team. He called everyone into a huddle, “Alright team we've trained hard for this,” he told them, “This is our moment. Let’s show Slytherin exactly why we’re the reigning champions and keep that trophy where it belongs! He threw his hand into the centre of the huddle and chanted "Go, go Gryffindor!" then broke away to prepare for the game.

Aroha set onto the quidditch pitch. She knew the seeker alternate had been putting in the work lately and it honestly made her feel a bit guilty that she hadn't been matching his level. Still, she'd worked hard to make it to actual seeker on the team and she wasn't going to give that up. To add to all that, the house cup rightfully deserved to be in Gryffindor hands, in her not-so-humble opinion. Aroha was therefore utterly determined to do her best, no matter how many bludgers flew her way (which she had a feeling would be numerous.) She stood on the pitch, broom in hand, and waited for the game to begin.

Today was the quidditch final. Gryffindor vs slytherin. And Ivy was looking forward to it. It would be the last game playing with Frasier and Santiago and she wanted to make them proud. As well as her family who was watching. She made her way to the pitch. Her hair in two braids her quidditch classic style and made her way onto the pitch ready to play. She listened to teddys speech go go Gryffindor she gained in at the huddle before taking a few mouthfuls of water and getting ready to play.

Alana arrives at the game, ready to beat Gryffindor.

Ignatius was nervous, but he tried not to show it. He had his pride to maintain, of course. He knew this was riding on him and he wanted to win. For his own benefit, of course.

Horror Zhefarovich was truly a man with few words - or none at all. This might be their last game and he was relieved to be done with the sport. He just told the referee the line up, and assumed that the other captain would give a speech.

Reeve looked at the line-ups and noted that they were both in order. He cast the Sonorous Charm on himself and addressed everyone. “Today is the championship game. Gryffindor will be guarding the northern hoops, and Slytherin will guard the south. May the best team win. Good luck” Reeve release the snitch and bludgers, happy when the bludgers soared away without attacking him. He flew up into the sky with the quaffle, tossing it into the air with a "GAME ON!"

1. Be sure to review the rules. Any questions regarding the rules should first be addressed to your captain(s). If they cannot answer or need additional clarity to support you, they can PM me.
2. If you have any issues seeing the score on the referee's first post or with your access to the quidditch system, please send a PM including both me and your captain(s). It may be that they've forgotten to add you to the system or may be a bigger issue.
3. You should refresh the page before you post! Someone might sneak in a post while you are working on yours and first post counts.
4. You should always be pressing a button, whichever is appropriate for your game play during your post. Doing so boosts your success rate as well as allows the timer to kick in appropriately for your teammates and opponents.
5. After a player is hit by the bludger 3x, gameplay should stop. This allows for a quicker return to game post- substitution.
6. The game is meant to be interactive, so read your fellow players posts before posting! Stick with the game from beginning to end, from kicking off the ground to touching back down! Have fun!

Ignatius thankfully didn't ruin the game by catching the snitch instantly took to the skies to start looking immediately.

fiona took to the skies, looking for a bludger to hit

This was it, the finals and he was determined to come through on his bet with Logan and for Gryffindor to take the cup. He was quick to hop on his broom as the whistle blew, darting forward and grabbing the quaffle safely under his arm as he headed toward the Slytherin hoops.

Ivy took the sky as the game started. She saw Miles take the quaffle, and she flew nearby, ready in case he needed help.

fiona had managed to hit a bludger, aiming it towards the seeker but the bludger went off course and hit the slytherin keeper instead…

@Horror Zhefarovich

Ignatius avoided the bludger and kept looking for the snitch.

Weaving around the other players, Miles pulled up to the Slytherin hoops and attempted a shot, but frowned as his first throw went off target and missed.

Teddy saw Miles missed and readied for the Slytherin chasers to take possession.

Ignatius didn't see the snitch yet.

Santiago took to the air and eagerly looked for bludgers.

Despite Sybil’s lack of confidence when she saw the Gryffindor chaser miss she raced into position and caught the quaffle as it was tossed back into play.

fiona looked for a bludger to hit

Alana kicked off and started to fly around and looked for something to hit.
