Malfoy Manor 3

ooc: Ooooo I have to catch up!

((do it do it!!! make a poll!))

Tristan walked into Malfoy Manor, shaking the rain off his cloak. He had not been here for about a month. In actuality, he had been avoiding having to talk to Estrella, as he hadn't made any progress in getting through to her. He was worried, very worried these days, and about more than just his family problems. Beginning to severely doubt the belief of the Head Death Eater, who had ordered Lucius to keep both girls here, he had decided to stay away. He had finally returned, however, and Lucius greeted him with the same cold expression that he had always worn.

"Hello, Tristan," Lucius drawled sneerily. "So where have you been off to this time? You've missed quite a lot of happenings here."

"I've been around," Tristan replied curtly with the same mind-your-own-business tone that he always presented. "And what exactly has happened?" His expression darkened. "Are my daughter and your granddaughter still here?"

"Of course," Lucius replied with a sneer, "But they have lost any priveleges that were once dear to them." He told Tristan all that had happened, and said, "You're going to be here for the meeting tonight, right? Or are you going to be whisked off to some imaginary land again?" He shifted in his seat. "We've all been considering telling the girls of the prophecy, but we haven't contacted Goyle about it yet-"

Tristan raised his eyebrow, and said hurriedly, "Why haven't you moved those two somewhere else? Hogwarts is bound to come calling if they aren't at school and their trunks have been transported from your house. How could you explain that to the Ministry, Lucius?" His gaze flickered angrily. "And yes, I am going to be at the meeting tonight. Everyone is. And I'll try not to be hostile with Vladmir." He pulled his hair out of his face, glaring at Lucius.

"All is well then," Lucius sneered. "But many of us are starting to wonder, Tristan, and I for one, don't agree with your incompetence. It seems that your loyalties lie with your family rather than us. Is that true?"

"Don't begin questioning my loyalty, Lucius," Tristan snarled. "I stand behind the Death Eaters, and you know that." His expression was filled with anger, but worry betrayed his eyes. Divulging his honest answer to that question would cause him to be watched even more than he already was. Desperate to change the subject, he said, "I know it's not dinnertime, but do you have anything to eat and somewhere to rest? I'm starving."

Lucius stared silently at Tristan, knowing apparent in his gaze. But deciding not to comment on the matter further, he clapped his hands together, and a house elf appeared. "Felox here can help you with that. Help yourself to the kitchens." He gazed at Tristan's back as he exited the library. Annoyed, he returned to reading his book. Something was unsettling him this day, and he didn't know why. He reminded himself to very wary, as his intuitions were often correct.

When morning came around and Estrella awoke, she jumped out of bed, knocking on Liz's wall once. They would be going through with the plan today, and they had to be alert of each other at all times. She waited for the resounding knock impatiently. She wanted out of Malfoy Manor so badly, but she had been careful not to show her eagerness to leave, in case it would arouse suspicion. She was not too keen to be stuck here with the Death Eaters while everyone else in school went to Hogwarts. She doubted that Liz and herself would be allowed to go back, as school started in a few days and no one had said anything. She and Liz would just have to take the matter into their own hands.

Liz knocked back. During a bathroom break in the night, Liz slipped Estrella's candy under her door.

She had her potions kit hidden in her robes, and her piece of candy infront of her. The note for Garett, was left on the bed.

She waited for Estrella's final confirmation, before they put their plan into action.

Estrella rapped on the wall twice, and after five seconds, another three quick taps. Guard duty was shifting soon, and they needed to be quick if they wanted their plan to work. It was now or never.

Liz hit the wall twice, and ate her candy. She hit it once more to signal that she'd eaten it. Suddenly, she found herself shaking violently, her body parts changing. She now looked exactly like Garett. It's too bad this won't last as long as a polyjuice potion. she bit her lip. Ten minutes at most.

Liz opened her door to see Garett's back facing her. She winced as she pulled the lamp back, and he turned around, only to see himself with a large wooden lamp, hitting him in the stomach. Liz turned to Estrella's door, hoping to see her in the same situation.

Sorry she thought, to an unconscious Garett

Estrella shoved the candy in her mouth, knocking on the wood as the candy began to change her. She shot up about a foot and a half taller, looking exactly like Arcturus. She flipped her bed over, making a crashing sound. As Arcturus had been patrolling her side of the hall, she surprised him as he opened the door, seeing the mirror image of himself. Smiling, she brought a candlestick down on his head, knocking him to the ground. Stealing his wand, she dragged him in further, shutting the door behind her to see Garett, and then she remembered it was Liz. With a thumbs up she began walking down the corridor, right past Lief, who inquired about the noise in Estrella's room. "She just fell off the bed in her sleep," Estrella said hurriedly, in an unfamilar deep voice, "She's fine." Estrella and Liz strode upstairs to the library, where the other Death Eaters in the manor were having a meeting.

Liz closed her door, leaving Garett in her room. She nodded, and followed Estrella.

They'd better hurry. Liz hardly paid attention to the plan, aside from making the candies. It had taken too much of her time. Now, she had to rely on Estrella.

"You're just in time for our meeting," Lucius greeted coldly, "Vladmir and Lief have already had a run through." He stared at what he thought to be Garett and Arcturus. He was confused; for some reason, they were carrying themselves very oddly, as if they were in a hurry for something. "Sit down," he instructed them.

"Just a minute," Estrella/Arcturus said, "We've both gotta go pretty bad." Acting like she was drunk, she stumbled into Lucius Malfoy's study. She left Liz in the other room, hoping to snatch their wands and brooms quickly. She did not notice Tristan following behind her.

"Wait a moment, Arcturus," Tristan growled, "Have you been drinking?" He gasped as the man he thought to be Arcturus turn around, holding both girl's wands in his hands, and the man flinched, as if in an electrical glitch, the image of his daughter flashing like lightning. "What-" he started, before being punched in the stomach.

Liz/Garett was inwardly glad about Estrella's decision. She'd spent enough time with Garett to know how to produce several of his usual mannerisms.

Moving closer to the door that Estrella went through, Liz/Garett leaned against the wall, casual listening to the conversation.

Estrella/Arcturus ran past Tristan, flinching as all the other Death Eaters in the room stared at her blankly. "It's them!" One of the Death Eaters shrieked, seeing the illusion that was Estrella flash once more. Without thinking, she blasted a few Stunning Spells into the group and began to run, screaming, "Accio Firebolts!" Out of another room, Liz and Estrella's brooms flew, and she watched as Liz jumped on hers. She screamed in pain, however, as she was hit in the back by the Cruciatus Curse. All of a sudden, her disguise was lifted, and she turned to see her attacker.

Tristan held his wand at Estrella's chest, her disguise exposed. As he had figured, the Cruciatus Curse had removed any disguise that she possessed. Although Liz Malfoy, who was obviously disguised as Garett was still under the magic, Estrella had been stripped of it, clearly visible to all. He dodged the stunning spell that she sent at him and raced after her, attempting to keep up as she flew through the many rooms on her broom.

Liz bit her lip and kept flying. On several occasions, she'd turn around and yell "Protego Totalum!" At that moment, she was thanking merlin for the private lessons she'd recieved. It stopped most of the death eaters from coming within range of attacking them.
