Closed Long Time Coming

Apparently, it was the season for weddings. Amber was invited to Rory's wedding and October's wedding, pretty close together. Well, she wasn't exactly invited by Rory, but Evelyn had decided to ask her along. Amber was happy for Rory, even if she didn't feel a particular desire to be his friend. They had ended up on nice-enough terms but hadn't spoken in years. Amber always did like a wedding, though. She was still busy planning her own. It was taking a bit longer than she had expected, but that was mostly her own fault. She just wanted everything to be so perfect.

She stood with Evelyn, smiling as she looked around. She saw a few familiar faces from her Hogwarts days, but no one really familiar. The exception to that was her sister, who Amber had known would be here. Gabriel was related to the bride in some way, though Sophie hadn't told Amber exactly what the relation was. Amber waved at her sister in the distance, then turned to Evelyn. "Yeah, he does." She said with a smile. "She seems lovely. She was in Hufflepuff, right?" She vaguely recalled the girl from her Hogwarts days, though she was sure she hadn't spoken to her.

Abner smiled, letting Eddie lead him to the drinks. He accepted it, chuckling softly. "Cheers," He echoed, clinking his glass against Eddie's before taking a sip. He lingered next to his boyfriend, slowly sipping on and appreciating his drink. "To be young," He teased gently, trying to put Eddie at ease. "I remember being that young. Do you remember when Asher was little? He kept breaking into the kitchen to build drums out of all the pots and pans." @Eddie Kane
