Gryffindor Quidditch Practice Y47/S1

Milo turned his head quickly, sighing when the movement he'd seen had just been the chasers moving about.

Rāwhiti was pleased to see Teddy holding his own despite the rough beginning, weaving through the goalposts as he looked for the snitch.

Veronica had been outraged when the team had been announced and a second year had got the open chaser spot over her or the transfer Alicia. Veronica could have accepted Alicia beating her to it, she had played on the Beauxbaton team and was pretty good, but Ivy? It was insulting and it made her question Raawhiti's decision making and leadership, the older boy was making a mockery of the team her father had once led to back to back championships. No wonder they hadn't won the Quidditch cup in years.

When she eventually got into the air she followed the other chasers around waiting for the quaffle to become available. She laughed when Teddy was hit by a bludger, he deserved it the pompous butthead, if he got knocked out of practice it would serve Raawhiti right for picking him over her a year prior. Once Alicia had missed her shot and Teddy threw the quaffle back into pay Veronica grabbed it and looped back around to have a go at Teddy's hoops. She missed, which just ticked her off even further.

Sorry. Account switch.

Ivy watched as Alecia took the shot a little disheartened when she missed. Then followed as veronica shot up the pitch ahead of everyone. Glad that the keeper was doing well even if they were. She got the ball as it was passed out and started making her way back down the pitch. Focusing in not dropping g the ball.

Rāwhiti carried on his search for the snitch, flying higher in the hopes of spotting it soon.

Fraser then followed the new chaser as she caught the ball after alicia's attempt to score.

Milo was keeping a weather eye on their captain, deciding to search low when the other seeker went high.

Ivy got nearer the goal. She could do this. She had practiced against Lin how many times? And he wasn’t going soft on her at all. At least he said he wasn’t. come on ivy she thought to her self. She got closer. And then the keeper was right in front of her. She took a sooo breath. For ready and… passed it. fraser to you she called as she passed it to the other chaser near her.
@Fraser Fergusson

After a bad start, Teddy was starting to save the goals, especially happy that Veronica did not get a quaffle past him. He blocked Ivy from getting an easy shot, then repositioned to defend the hoops against Fraser.

Rāwhiti was pleased to see Ivy communicating with her fellow chasers, giving the younger girl a thumbs up as he flew past.

Circling high above the pitch, Rāwhiti was getting impatient as he couldnt' see a sign of the snitch.

Josh quickly followed closely behind the chasers

It seemed like Rāwhiti might be getting tired out already which meant for Milo it was the perfect time to put on the pressure. He flew close to the other seeker, trying to block Rāwhiti from getting a clean line of site on the pitch as they flew neck and neck.

Santiago looked for more bludgers to hit.

Rāwhiti grumbled under his breath as Milo got closer, putting on a sharp burst of speed before braking abruptly and diving down in a half wronski feint, trying to throw the younger boy so he could focus.

Fraser caught the quaffle as Ivy tossed it to him and he continued to make his way to the hoops.

Alicia followed behind Fraser, who had the quaffle.

Teddy watched Fraser approach and guarded the hoops.

With his tail clear Rāwhiti stayed low, circling underneath the other players and scanning the air below him.

Fraser attempted to score and was very disappointed when his shot went wide.

Teddy was poised and ready, diving for the quaffle which he caught before it had a chance to approach the hoops, even though it seemed it wasn’t on target anyway. He tucked the quaffle securely under one arm until he steadied his broom, then threw it back into play.

Alicia grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown back into play and flew off with it.

Miro still couldn't find a bludger to hit.
