Gryffindor Quidditch Practice Y44 S1

Ruby missed the bludger she was going for.

Rāwhiti caught sight of a shimmer of gold, but by the time he caught up it had slipped away again.

Ruby continued to fly around the pitch, whacking bludgers but not hitting anyone.

Zee winced as a bludger came in her direction. She was happy the beater did well, but no one liked getting hit. She tried to knock off the pain as she aimed for the goal. She was a little surprised that the quaffle went through, scoring. Although she was proud that not even a bludger hit would slow her down.

Soren cheered as Zee scored, before swooping in to grab the quaffle himself.

Rāwhiti stayed close to his broom, flying fast as he searched for the snitch.

Aurora managed to hit another bludger and was able to hit it right to one of the captains.
@Louis Alcott

Rāwhiti flew lower, searching closer to the ground again in hopes that the snitch was hiding below the match.

Zee followed Soren as he took the quaffle in case he needed any assistance. She made sure to attempt to view the practice happening around her as well, multitasking at its finest.

Rāwhiti's determination kept him going, eager to get another catch and prove himself.

Ruby whacked a bludger but didn’t hit anyone.

Santiago missed his next shot.

Ruby found a bludger and aimed it up with her target, hitting it hard. She watched as it sailed right into @Santiago Torres again.

aurora missed the bludger she was going for.

Dahlia turned to see the bludger coming but couldn't get out of the way fast enough, instead just bracing for the impact. She felt pretty winded after it, but she could handle it. She knew she'd be bruised later, though.

A sudden shimmer of gold caught Rāwhiti's eye and he put on a quick burst of speed, heart hammering as he closed in on the snitch, pulling his broom in a wide arc as it tried to zip away from him. He kept his eyes on the prize, and a few moments later the snitch was in his hand yet again. He cheered brightly to let the team know he had caught it, before letting it go again.

Dahlia's jaw dropped at how well Rāwhiti was doing. She'd only found the snitch once, but he'd gotten it a few times. She couldn't be upset because him doing well was the best thing for Gryffindor and hoped that meant they'd win their games, but she knew she had to do well too to prove that putting her in the squad hadn't been a mistake.

Soren made it back to the hoops, and threw again. He smiled brightly when he actually managed to score this time.

Dahlia didn't see the snitch, trying to work out how she could search more proactively.

Santiago swung his bat and managed to hit a bludger. But his aim was off and he didn't hit anyone.

Not seeing any of the others, Soren swooped in and grabbed the quaffle again.

Dahlia wasn't seeing the snitch anywhere, and she was starting to think maybe she'd just fluked it at first.

Aurora did not hit anything

Soren threw the quaffle, snapping his fingers as he missed. "You are on point today!" He praised the keeper, laughing light heartedly.

Ruby whacked a bludger away as it headed towards another player.
