Justin sat at the Head table with the rest of the staff, as he waited for the rest of the students to arrive for what would be their last chance to be here this year. It had been a big year for Justin, him having to run Graduation and now this since Ava was still on maternity leave. He didn't mind, because he enjoyed seeing the smiling faces of the students. As they arrived, he rose and cleared his throat, "Welcome to you all for yet another End of Year Feast, before we begin I'll need to say a few words. Firstly, congratulations for Ravenclaw for taking the house cup for the year! I'm sure Professor Spenser will need to wrestle the cup from Professor Kingsley." Justin said with a chuckle in his voice.

"And congratulations to our top point earners, coming in first is Victoire Fontaine with a whopping 769, the top point earner for Gryffindor and overall! Orwell Brocken from Ravenclaw is their top earner with 746 points! From Hufflepuff, we have Carlotta Raven with 712 points, and last but not least, we have Lilyanna Hope from Slytherin with 426 points! Congratulations to all of you!" He said with a smile on his face. He was happy that there was so many people who were committed to their class work. "Hopefully next year we can see you all again, be sure to empty out those heads so you're all ready to learn learn learn!" He said with a chuckle, and began helping himself to some food.

Daisy couldn't believe that Ravenclaw had won. Gryffindor had done so well! Even the top point earner was from Gryffindor! Daisy sulkily played with the food on her table. Maybe if she had studied more, or done more then they would have won, but Ravenclaw had definitely won by far. The young girl was excited to go home to see her mom, dog and hopefully dad again; she was feeling really homesick and kinda just wanted the feast to end already. Daisy looked up and her brown eyes fell on the boy she loved to hate and an idea formed in her head as Vex the poltergeist swooped past. "Hey - Vex!" Daisy whispered out.

End of year feast! Vex loved food, and lights, noise and celebrations. The poltergeist didn't bother with listening to Professor Cliffeton talking, though he did try and find the people called out for best points earners - the nerds!. He backflipped in the air as he tried to find each, pouring cool tea above their heads, but not really taking note on whether it hit them, or those beside them. The colourful none-being was perfectly happy to bumbled around the room, but was distracted by a call from a friendly Gryffindor. Hovering half-way through the table in front of her, the creature grinned wide and considered tipping some tea on her head.

"Yes?"

As Vex flew closer to her, Daisy eyed his teapot cautiously, hoping she didn't become a victim, also hoping that the Professors had thought ahead and used some sort of charm so that the students didn't get hot tea poured on them. She beckoned him closer, so she could talk to him quietly. "Vex, I don't know if you remember, but awhile ago you helped me cheer up a friend. I was just wondering if you could help me again." Daisy pointed discreetly over to Sheridan Belrose sitting at the Slytherin table. "I think he's hot Vex. Like, really hot. Like, on fire hot. Do you think you could help me with my problem?" Daisy asked, putting on her most charming smile.

The pressure of exams and getting a good grade had ended and now Lilyanna was off to the last feast of the year, very glad that it was all over for now. She would be moving into her second year next year which meant that she was no longer going to be the youngest of them all. It made her smile as she took a seat at the Slytherin House Table knowing that she had successfully made it through a whole year at the school and she honestly couldn't wait for another one once holidays had finished. With her arms folded, Lilyanna listened as the Deputy Headmaster began his speech. She was quite disappointed that her house hadn't won the house cup but was very shocked to find that she was the highest house points winner in Slytherin. There was a big gap between her and the person that was in front of her but she was still very proud of herself nonetheless and smirked across at the Hufflepuff table at Eleanor, almost rubbing it in her face that she had beaten her at something. Once the feast began, Lilyanna put a few things on her plate and began to eat. She was very happy with her efforts this year and was going to put in twice as much effort next year for double the effect.

It was the last night at Hogwarts for the year and Eleanor couldn't believe how fast it all went. She had a fantastic year and knew that she was going to miss Hogwarts during the holidays before she came back as a second year. The only thing that kept a smile on her face was that she knew that she was going to have to come back eventually and couldn't wait. She took a seat next to Ares and his friends at the Hufflepuff table and fidgeted in her seat as the Deputy Headmaster began his speech which Eleanor was very disinterested in. She wanted to eat the food right away but unfortunately she had to wait. What caught her attention was her sister's name in the professor's words and Eleanor looked up abruptly, looking straight at her sister as she gave her a smug look and clapping along with the rest of the crowd. She had won the biggest house points earner for Slytherin and it kind of made Eleanor jealous. She had no idea that there was even such an award and wanted to try extra hard next year so she could get one of her own to show Lily just how good she could be.

As soon as they were able to, Eleanor dug straight into the food and began shoving as much as she could on her plate. One thing that she was definitely going to miss was the food that Hogwarts provided. Unfortunately, she hadn't met a house elf yet to ask it for the recipes and was going to make that her goal next year. Another thing she would miss would be the people that she met during her time there. The fact that she was sorted into the best house surrounded by the best people made Eleanor very happy and she couldn't wait to come back next year all refreshed so she could start another year of adventure and learning.

A lot of things were going through Charlotte's mind as she made her way to the Great Hall for the end of year feast alongside her friends. Her third year was coming up which meant that she had to put in extra work with the new subjects. She was growing up and missed her first year when she was only just beginning the journey. Of course, she was nowhere near finishing her time at Hogwarts yet but Charlotte knew how quickly time could pass whilst having fun and she didn't want to waste her years worrying too much. She walked into the Great Hall with a smile on her face and sat by herself at the Slytherin table. The speech that the Deputy Headmaster said was very similar to last year's but this time Charlotte hadn't won biggest house points earner. She still clapped along with everyone to congratulate those who did nonetheless. When the eating started, she slowly ate some food, savouring the moment so it could last forever.

After a year of just missing the poltergeist at every turn, Desislav watched as a fellow Gryffindor simply called Vex and he appeared. He was close enough to touch as Desi was right across the table from this girl, but Desislav simply watched, too in awe of the poltergeist's mischief to even utter a word. He was a huge fan! The Deputy Headmaster was saying something up front, but to Desi school was over and he had no reason to listen to the man until September 1st. He just watched to see what he'd do with that teapot.

Victoire glanced up towards the professor at the front of the Great Hall as he began speaking, it was hard to think that she would be heading into her final year at school, that she had gotten through her OWLs and was half way through her NEWTs it was just an impossible thing, and yet it was happening. The Gryffindor prefect applauded for the house cup victors, and was very pleased that she had managed to get the most amount of points during the year, she had put so much more work in than all the years before and between that and all the other things she had to do that was quite a task. She was smiling to herself, having passed her apparition exam, the teen had so much she had planned to do with her holidays, and it really was going to be the best break. The teen had so much to think about, so much to consider, and so much good in her life. She was happy this year was at a close and even happier knowing that she was one step closer to graduating and one step closer to beginning the rest of her life, Victoire glanced along the table and found Jean's gaze, giving him a very small smile before just focusing on everything else.

Orwell was looking forward to the break, he was looking forward to all of the different things that he had planned, Orwell hated the end of year feast or any large feast because it meant he couldn't sit with Archie and Orwell hated not being able to sit next to him. Orwell was sat at the Ravenclaw table with Pia, and then as the professor started speaking and he took this time to wave at Kayleigh who was sitting at the Slytherin table, just as his name was called out and he looked up at the professor realising he'd had the most points for Ravenclaw, and he smiled easily, fairly proud of what he had managed even though he had gotten into trouble a few times during the year. The King of flowers felt himself blush lightly at the congratulations, ducking his head slightly and running a hand through his mostly faded coloured hair and clapped happily for everyone and for Ravenclaw. He couldn't wait to spend time with Archie at his house over the holidays, and just spending time with his family with the community, and hopefully he was going to be able pass all his OWLs, and do even more with the Wild Patch.

Dan blinked. It was the last day of his second year, something he had not been expecting to come so fast. He remembered when he was sorted into Slytherin the previous year and as he sat at his house table next to a girl he recognized from his classes, he waited until the deputy headmaster was done with his speech, before glancing at his sister and smiling at her. He was happy for the both of them, not that he tried his best this year like he planned to, but he was content with managing just fine either way. Hopefully next year would be an even better. He planned to make many more friends than the ones he already had. Daniel heard who the winners for the house cup were and clapped along with everyone else, slightly disappointed it hadn't been Slytherin. He knew they could always try harder next time - and Dan will participate in earning those points. Finally, the speech was over and by then he was starving. The second, almost third, year filled his plate with as much food as his stomach will allow before starting to eat. He had never tasted food this good before, not even at home, and his parents sure could cook. He accidentally tipped over the juice of the nearest Slytherin student he was sitting next to, and his eyes widened, taking out his wand to clean the mess. "I'm so sorry, truly I am," he apologized, feeling very guilty.

The poltergeist had an incredible memory (usually used to pick on the same people repeatedly for more fun), and remembered the Gryffindor, and her friend. Bad moods were not permitted! This friend of hers seemed to always be having problems - but even the young poltergeist knew what to do when someone was hot. Make them cold. His curved ears wiggled at the possibilities, seeing as there was so much food around, and this included many cold desserts!

"I will help!"

He bounced away happily, scooping up a large platter of ice cream, not bothering to check whether any slipped off and fell on suspecting students. He did, however, make sure there was a big enough dose to administer to the burning Slytherin first year. Once his victim was located, and in a quick motion tipped the entire platter of ice cream over Sheridan Belrose's head. If anyone didn't see the act, they probably heard it with Vex's hysterical laughter.

Amy smiled, it was already the end of her second year. Although she knew time would fly, she couldn't wait until she could start with the subjects she liked, and focus on only those. She arrived at the Great Hall with her twin and sighed quietly. This was the only time she hated - not being able to sit with her brother. Sometimes, but rarely, she wished they had been sorted into the same house, whichever one it would have been. She knew that would never have happened though. They had very different personalities and therefore Amy couldn't expect something so foolish. She had friends at least. She sat the Hufflepuff table, waiting for the deputy headmaster's speech to announce the winners of the house cup. She grinned when she heard it was Ravenclaw. They were the intelligent bunch, she knew, and she was happy for them. She believed they had deserved it. Amy clapped with everyone as each top house points winner from each house was announced and by the end of Professor Cliffeton's speech, her eyes wandered over to Dan, whose attention was already on her. She grinned, and laughed when he knocked over somebody else's drink. He was so clumsy sometimes. Amy looked around at her own table and noticed a few people were looking at her because she laughed so loudly. Her face reddened and she looked down at her plate, avoiding their gazes.

Sheridan had been keeping his head low and enjoying the evening before it had been ruined. He was bummed at his house not winning, but there was nothing to be done. Their top points earner didn't even earn that many points for the house, anyway - they basically had no chance. He yawned quietly and began collecting some food to eat, keeping his eyes on the poltergeist. He hated that thing - it had already made a horrible impression on him because of Daisy, and he didn't like all of that stupid poltergiesty-ghosty stuff, anyway. Sure, he was in a magical school, but having beings like that around was... disconcerting.

He was distracted by a particularly nice looking chicken leg, and so had not seen Vex conversing with Daisy, nor had he realised that the thing was actually approaching him. He was only enlightened by the laughter of the creature as freezing cold ice cream was dropped on his head and shoulders - effectively paralysing him with utter horror. Last time he yelled at the poltergeist, it hadn't done more than had puffapods dropped on his head. Burning red, and seeing it, too, the Slytherin stood up abruptly and stormed out of the hall, utterly humiliated, but trying to hold it all together.

Leo tried to hide his smirk. He was somewhere near Daisy at the Gryffindor table, and he was not paying attention to a single word his deputy headmaster, and flying professor, was saying. He couldn't care the least about whatever he had to say as it was the last day of the year and of course, he was intrigued by what was happening in front of him. He heard a few words his new friend shared with Vex the ghost and a chuckle escaped his lips. Leo covered his mouth with his hand and ducked his head in case anyone heard him. It was classic really. He made a mental note to plan many mischievous things with Daisy the following year. It wasn't like they would cause too much harm anyway. He watched, amused with a grin on his face as the ghost floated towards the Slytherin table and dumping ice cream on a poor boy's head. He squinted. He thought he recognized the Slytherin but couldn't place a name, so he just shrugged it off. Leonardo turned towards Daisy. "I'm enjoying this friendship more and more," he couldn't help but laugh, shaking his head at her. This was why he wanted to keep her as a friend. This was why.

A grin grew on Daisy's face as Vex agreed to help her. It got even better by the second as Vex picked up the ice cream and messily threw it on Belrose's head. It was way better than she could of imagined it to be. Daisy let out a bark of laughter and turned to Leonardo as he spoke to her and she lifted up her fist for a fist bump. The Gryffindor turned back to the target of her prank and felt a twinge of guilt as he stormed out of the Great Hall, though really he had no idea how to take a joke. Really, he could have just had someone help him clean it off, laugh it off and continue his meal, but he had to be all serious and moody. Daisy brushed off the feeling of guilt and turned back to Leo, a smile on her face, the night much brighter.

Professor Gladys Wright floated quietly above the Ravenclaw table as the End of Year Feast began, looking down upon the students who would be moving up to the next year, those who would be departing the school forever, and wondering what kind of students would fill their empty places in the year to come. It was a time of great joy, and everyone seemed excited to be able to return home for the holidays. For the ghost, it would be a nice break from the hustle and bustle of chaotic students, no more fireworks on the grounds, food fights in the hall. She enjoyed the calm, the peace, but with the appearance, or manifestation of Vex, that was turning out to be harder to come by.

As the deputy congratulated Ravenclaw for winning the cup, Gladys clapped her hands silently, applauding the Quidditch Players for their accomplishment, and then Brocken, as he was called to have achieved the top points for their house. She had expected a Ravenclaw student to have pulled in the lead regarding points among all of the houses, but given Orwell's reputation, she supposed it was't a surprise that he only came in second. The spectral woman floated down the length of the table, sparing Vex a disapproving glance for his actions. That Poltergeist couldn't go through a single day without causing trouble.
