Professor Misha Haden had been a bit surprised to be asked to help out, he didn't often, but he didn't mind it. Though of course he was feeling a little more tired than usual with the boys keeping him awake. It was nice though, they were adorable. He looked at the two students whose duel he was overseeing. "Let's keep this clean," he said, before inviting them to get started.

The duel begins now. You have 24 hours from this to post your first reply, or face disqualification. Once both duelists have posted, you will have 24 hours from your opponents post to reply, or be disqualified. Ensure that you use the spell list for guidance on age-appropriate spells, and read over the dueling rules and points system. Please also remember site rules apply, including power/god modding. You can find the site rules here. Duels will run until there is a winner or until 6 IRL days have passed, in which case the winner will be chosen by RNG. If you are knocked out or otherwise disarmed/incapacitated, or if you run out of points, you will lose and the duel will end. Have fun!

Spectators are allowed to post in this topic once per competitors post, but are forbidden from directly interfering with the duels. Duelers cannot cast spells at the spectators or face disqualification.

June was very very pleased that she won her duel to Oswald. He was no match for her ofcourse. And just as with Santiago it was luck just once they beat her. And she was even more pleased that people seemed to be irritated about her being the best. The blonde now had to face an Slytherin and he was an loser as well. He had strange and ugly hair and taste in people. And she would enjoy beating him as well. She smiled as Misha was present at her duel and hoped that was an good sign for her. June made an quick bow and hold up her wand. And was this time not playing any games and was quick to fire an incendio towards his robes. One of her favorite spells.

Cornelius had always suspected that everyone was wrong about him. A loser, an idiot, a disappointment, all things he had let other people make him believe he was. But now... today he was proving them all wrong. He still wasn't quite sure how he had managed to win his first duel in one hit but he had, and here he was in the second round. Tempest had gone down like a rock, and he was sure June would follow fast. She talked a big game, but at the end of the day she was still just a girl. Preparing to cast, Cornelius was caught off guard by June moving faster than him, shrieking as her spell set the hem of his robe ablaze. "F*CK!" He yelped, jumping up and down on the flames, swatting and fanning at them in a frenzy. "She set me on fire!" He shrieked at the referee in disbelief. "She can't set me on fire, can she?!"

June watched her spell going to Cornelius or whatever his name was. And smirked as her spell hit him. This was another person crying about her spell. Again it proved usefull. He just had to be quicker and block spells. June watched at Misha. And didn’t felt this was something to stop, since it wasn’t a forbidden spell. She could set his other side on fire or burn his hair perhaps but that wasn’t smart in front of her adoptive dad. The blonde focused on her next spell and fired an Silencio his way. He spoke too much and his annoying voice had to stop.

Cornelius was far too distracted squawking at the referee in an entirely unmanly way to notice the next spell sent his way, only realising what had happened when his protests fell silent. He stamped ineffectively on a smouldering hem of his robe and waggled his wand in June's direction, though without his voice he couldn't do much of anything at all.

June knew exactly what to do and it seemed like Cornelius was not focused like she was. He could yell away but it was delicious when her next spell hit him again. And he was silenced literally by her. June her smile grew wider and her confidence was now on full level. Seeing him stamp on the ground was hilarious but June would only celebrate if she was done here. In a way she could do anything now, he could not do anything back. Or he had to run to her like a crazy person. She could use an new spell an difficult one and take away his vision as well. One she had learned already and was sure he couldn’t. “ Obscuro” June casted and was gonna make use of this. An have an bit of fun. Also showing her skills in spells.

Flapping his wand ineffectively and completely failing to make any sound whatsoever was a full-focus activity, especially when you were already suffering the nerves caused by having your clothes set on fire. That was what Cornelius tried to tell himself when he heard June cast, and a second later the whole world went dark. Cornelius would have screamed if he could, the sudden sensation of being robbed of sight plunging him into an empty abyss of terror. He wanted to flee, but he had no idea which direction to go. He kept flailing his wand, but for all he knew he could have been aiming for the audience instead. (Not that it would matter - he was well beyond a point of being able to cast anything at all.)

June watched her next spell going to Cornelius. And it hit him. The blonde watched Misha shortly. And didn’t smirked so wide since she wanted to keep up an certain act. But this was dueling and this was part of it. And she had shown her skills. Now it was time to defeat him. She had set his clothes on fire, silenced him and taken away his sight. And she hoped he was very scared not able to see what happend. But he still had his hearing unfortunally. She pointed her wand and casted her next spell. “ Petrificus Totalus.” She than send his way. Knowing she had kicked his a**s for real. And was better than everyone.

Blinded and muted, Cornelius felt almost as though he were in some kind of abyss, unable to communicate with a world around him he could only hear. The echoes in the room were disorientating and he whirled around, no longer sure where anyone was. He continued waving his wand wildly and uselessly until another spell hit him, arm abruptly snapping to his side. He felt every muscle in his body lock frozen, wishing desperately that he could scream as he fell backwards, finally hitting the floor.
