Reading Week
Folks, we are now in the reading week! This is the last week before the exams hit and a pivotal moment for catch up. All professors should now aim to post all of their remaining classes and if they have not, we'll be in touch soon. Students, now is the catch-up period, time to push Slytherin out of the lead.
Quidditch - other schools
Quidditch is always great fun, and the other schools brought a great game! It was nail-biting and after one seeker was removed from the Beauxbatons team, their replacement was able to quickly seal the deal for Beauxbatons! Quidditch is always a lot of fun, and from the way games have been going this season, I'm really excited to see who wins the cup and the final game. Go Hufflepuff!
Daycare Head Position Announcement!
The app for this recently closed, and we are happy to announce the new leader of the daycare centre: Sofia Loris, Kiersten. I'm sure everyone will join me in congratulating Kiersten on the new position! We know you'll do great.

While we're on the subject of submitted costumes, here is your bi-weekly remind to share and post your pictures to Accio to ensure they are included in the yearbook. These will close in like a month or so, so there is still time, but the time will pass quickly.
HNZ Summer Raffle 2023
We love a sunshine competition, and we have announced our winner:
Daphne! We can all see the wonderful, summery, yellow colour and the sunshine next to her name. In second place, too, we have

OOC Valentine's Day was almost a week ago now and our near annual anonymous compliments struck again. Anonymous compliments are a nice thing to do and are always very welcome. Thank you to everyone who submitted compliments, and you can head on over here to read them if you haven't already.
Moving bios/threads
We've had a few asks recently about who in the staff to go to about moving bios or threads. By in large they can be sent to any staff member, though during the sorting period please do mostly send them to the GMs, who will have more time to do them.

- Sharing a Room - It's good fun again in the first years slytherin girls dorm. With three First Year Slytherins who meet. Pillow's are been thrown and alliances are made. Never a dull moment.
- Enceinte - The Westwick family unexpectedly grows a little bigger.
- Pencils and Crayons - Harking back to their first meeting, Nell asks Jasper an important question.
- Opposite Directions - A chance encounter leads to a dramatic misunderstanding.
- The Great Broom Heist of 2058 - A few of the second year Gryffindors attempt to sabotage the Hufflepuff team by stealing their brooms!
- Yuleball!
