Back and Forth RP

I wanted to make this topic because it's something that's been on my mind lately. For some reason, I've had a lot of HNZ energy lately and when I have that it's sometimes just so fun to do a RP back and forth with someone. Normally, I try to stick to my schedule and make sure I reply to things pretty equally, but sometimes it's just a lot of fun to knock out an RP in an afternoon or something. I've also seen it happening more and more on site, which is always fun to see and follow. I've also heard/seen in old threads that HNZ used to have this a lot more.

I figured it might be nice to have a space on site to ask for this/arrange it, since it seems like it's usually easiest to do in group chats off-site, but that means you're usually doing this with the same few people or that it might be less accessible to new people/people who aren't in group chats.

So for that reason I figured making a topic for it might be a good idea. I figured this topic might be a good spot to ask for it, but then I got the idea to make it a chatroom which might be useful too. You can use either if you'd like but maybe hash out the details in the chat or on PM.

Much like the open topics topic I decided to make a little form, but I'm not sure if it's necessary to be so formal about it. If you don't have any specific ideas but just want to RP with a certain character (or just in general) feel free to say that. If you have an (open) topic already you can also link it here if you want, but its not necessary. If you like an idea and want to react to it, you can PM the person who posted it.

It is of course possible that no one is around or no one wants to RP. If your post has timed out you can edit it to show that or just leave it. Maybe someone will still read and like the idea later and hit you up afterwards. If you do find someone to RP with it may be smart to also add that to the post or cross it out to show that.

Please make sure to communicate with each other clearly over PM and be realistic. Even if someone agrees to do a quick rp, it's possible life happens and they have to stop.

This is honestly just an idea, but I hope it helps people get some ideas and RPs going

Oh my gosh I love this, I've started calling these quickfire threads but I guess they're kind of oldschool as well because yes, it was common to reply back and forth quite quickly back then. I will definitely be hitting this thread up soon, thank you Daphne!!

I also call these quick fires, but I mostly do these off of hnz bc it's so much easier to do these on my phone!! but this is pretty neat and I'm always open for quick fires if anyone is up for it!
