OOC: Takes place directly after the Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff game. Open after @Tilly Drage

Seraphina really could care less about the quidditch games, especially if her house wasn't even playing. Who wanted to spend time watching teams compete for last place? As she made her way out of the Great Hall from grabbing some food, she spotted one of her least favorite people coming back into the castle and rolled her eyes as she walked past.

Tilly was in an absolutely foul mood after the game against Ravenclaw. She was still wearing her gear, her beater’s bat slung over her shoulder. The fact that they were in dead last place and she hadn’t struck anyone bothered her to no end. Her frustration boiled over when she saw her favorite Gryffindor’s nasty expression.

“Oh, go hug a Whomping Willow, Seraphina,” Tilly blurted loudly. She couldn’t help it.

Seraphina swallowed the bite of the cookie she was finishing and spun around. "At least it would be comfier than hugging you," she snapped back, taking another bite of her snack. "Do you really need a bat to defend yourself? I thought people would be scared of you just from how bad you smell."

Tilly’s uncle Sumner had joked that her hand-me-down bat had a red tint because it was seasoned with blood. Maybe he wasn’t joking after all. Tilly would certainly like to bash Seraphina over the head with it.

“Surprised you can smell at all with that janky nose of yours,” she countered.

Seraphina felt her hands tighten as crumbs fell through her fingers. She had smushed her cookie, but she wished she could have thrown it like a frisbee at Tilly's head. "My nose is fine," she sneered quieter than her previous comments. They had indeed fixed her nose, as much as she still feared there was a slight crookedness to it.

Tilly snorted loudly. “Sure it is.” Normally, making fun of someone’s physical appearance wouldn’t even occur to Tilly, but Seraphina My brought out the worst in her. She could only take being called Yeti, Bigfoot, a cow, and all of the other horrible remarks Seraphina made about her size so many times. She turned her back on the Gryffindor, trying to walk away.

Seraphina could feel her anger boiling up as Tilly turned away. That girl was the reason her nose was messed up anyway, and she knew it. As the rest of the crumbs left her hand, she just couldn't hold it in anymore. Running towards the girl, she gave a hard shove as Tilly fell to the ground, hoping her nose would also be screwed up now. "Guess your bat couldn't save you now," she said as she stood over the Hufflepuff.

Tilly crashed to the ground with a hard thud. She caught herself, but her elbow exploded with pain. Her beater’s bat rolled away and smacked into the wall. Stunned and even more angry, she shouted, still on the ground, “You stupid meatcrob!” She used one of her long, thick legs and tried to kick out Seraphina’s feet from under her. She was oblivious to the other passers-by in the hall, blinded with rage.

Before Seraphina could make sense of Tilly's odd insult, she felt herself lose her balance as she fell on top of the Hufflepuff. Trying to roll off her enemy, she felt her bracelet get stuck on Tilly's hair and tried to pull it away. "Let go of me you weasel," she shouted in an annoyed voice as she struggled to free herself.

Tilly did NOT like being attached to Seraphina in any capacity. “It’s your UGLY bracelet!” she hollered, the hair pulling from her scalp quite painful. She tried untangling from the piece of jewelry with no success. She thought being called a weasel was quite charitable of Seraphina. At least weasels weren’t considered fat.

Seraphina didn't appreciate Tilly calling her bracelet ugly and "accidentally" whacked her hand into Tilly's nose kinda hard. "Oops," she said in a sing songy voice as she attempted to still pull her bracelet free from the giant's hair.

Pain erupted in Tilly’s face as Seraphina bopped her on the nose. She shouted in aggravation. Instinctively, she pulled back her arm. Her muscles were killing her from the game and grueling days of practice. However, she still managed to land a good punch to Seraphina’s gut.

Seraphina was struggling to get her bracelet free when she felt a pain in her stomach and a moment of no breath. Did she just get punched? Groaning, she rolled away from Tilly, pulling her arm with her as she tried to get up with her bracelet still attached to the Hufflepuff's hair.

Elliot hated how he felt after loosing games, but today's loss had stung just that extra bit more. He'd spent as much time as he could in the locker rooms, making sure everything was put away and the team was okay before finally trudging back to the castle. He was jolted out of his own misery by the sound of a commotion in the entrance hall, shocked to see Tilly and another younger student rolling around on the ground.

"Tilly!" He said, surprised at the jolt of rage he felt seeing her fighting, especially still in her Hufflepuff quidditch robes. He drew his wand, unsure if he needed to use it to break the pair up since they seemed to be tangled, but he was still furious as he stalked over to the pair to see what was going on.

Today's game had sucked for Hufflepuff, and Kas had been ready to call it when something far more interesting caught his eye. One of the Hufflepuff beaters was brawling with another girl. Amused, Kas started to hang back to watch, before thinking better of it when one of their prefects appeared. Kas hung back some, still wanting to see how this went down, but he definitely didn't want to get involved.

Tilly shouted in pain as Seraphina tore the hairs out of her head. She was fully prepared to chase after her and land another blow when a familiar voice reached her ears. Still glaring daggers at the Gryffindor, she picked up her beater’s bat and rose to her full height, brushing off her robes. At the same time, her heart was sinking down into her stomach.

Tilly then turned to her team captain. Blushing with embarrassment, she said bluntly, “Elliot.”

Seraphina was still feeling the hit on her abdomen when she felt Tilly get up. She slowly pushed herself up as she took in the whole room, seeing some older students standing nearby. She didn't really know or care who Elliot was and pushed the hair out of her face with her non-bracelet arm. Glaring at Tilly, she turned around without saying a word and began to walk out of the Great Hall with a smirk on her face. At least she had gotten a little revenge.

Elliot could understand being upset about today's game, but he couldn't believe that Tilly had gone so far to get into a fight because of it. "Is this how you think a member of our team should be acting? Let alone a member of our house?" Elliot asked, his voice thick with disappointment. "And you, you're not going anywhere, what house are you in," He said, calling over to the other girl as she tried to walk away. Elliot usually dreaded having to hand out punishments as a prefect, but today the hard pit of disappointment and anger he'd felt at his own loss only fueled his sour mood at finding the pair in front of him fighting. There was no doubt he was ready to march them both up to their heads of house.

Without a doubt, Elliot’s words hurt Tilly more than Seraphina’s fists, or all the nasty things the Gryffindor had called her during the last year and a half. The Hufflepuff might have been a large kid, but she shrank in on herself, feeling absolutely tiny as her captain scolded her. She looked down at the ground with tears hot in her eyes.

Seraphina stopped when she could hear the older boy talking to her and realized he must be in what he thought was a position of power. She turned around quickly on her heels and faced the boy, side-eyeing Tilly. "Slytherin," she blatantly lied. She wasn't wearing any robes since they didn't have class today. Maybe the boy wouldn't question her, and maybe Tilly wouldn't squeal since she had proved she doesn't just fall on her face.

Elliot was mollified some by Tilly's clear display of remorse, giving her a quick nod of acknowledgement as she hung her head. He and Abian had never had to yell at any of their team like this before, and Elliot was worried he'd run out steam if let himself stop being angry at the two girls. "Right, what's your name. I'm going to have to report you both to Professor Carter and Professor Styx," Elliot said shortly, beckoning the Slytherin girl closer. He really didn't want to see Professor Styx, even less so than he wanted to tell Professor Carter than one of his own team members had been fighting in front of half the school, but this was about his head, even as a prefect, and he couldn't let the other girl just walk away.

Tilly nearly choked in disbelief as Seraphina said she was in Slytherin. However, Tilly was in enough trouble as is- she didn't want to add fuel to the fire. And despite whatever happened with the professors, she would still have to face Seraphina again. Things were only going to get worse if she said something now. She reached up, feeling a stream of fluid out of her nose. It was bleeding. She pinched the bridge, tipping her head back as she awaited further instructions from Elliot.

Seraphina wiped something wet from her forehead and realized she was bleeding. It probably happened somewhere during her fall, but who knew at that point. Her stomach still hurt, and all she wanted to do was go lie down. At the same time, she wanted to revel in the fact that Tilly was hurting awesome. "Fergusson. Brooke Fergusson," she said, realizing that her last name implied she would probably have an accent, which she did not. Hoping that it would confuse the prefect enough, she glanced over at Tilly to see her reaction. She would have no hesistation to lunge at the girl if she ratted. It's not like one prefect could stop the both of them. He was puny anyway.

Elliot was still trying to puzzle out the Slytherin girl when he could sight of Tilly tilting her head back, her nose apparently bleeding. He felt a pang of sympathy for her, buried somewhere under the wave of disappointment. "Tilly, go to the nurse and I'll meet you back in the common room. We can talk about you and the team later," He told her shortly. It wasn't like she could sneak off anywhere he wouldn't find her eventually. Professor Carter would no doubt be able to handle any sort of punishment, but there was no doubt Elliot needed to have a word with Abian and Tilly as well about her future as their starting beater.

Shaking his head as if to dislodge the mess of feelings he had thinking about the Hufflepuff team right now, Elliot's brain stuck on the Slytherin girl's name, furrowing his brow. "Fergusson? Like Aonghas Fergusson?" He said dubiously. He knew Aonghas had a Slytherin sister, she'd been at the center of the last fight he'd had to break up as a prefect, and he knew this wasn't her. Elliot just hoped it was a coincidence, he was ready for this scene to be over already so he could go back to licking his metaphorical wounds, and this girl lying to him wasn't going to help.

Brooke Fergusson- very clever. Tilly wondered how far Seraphina’s lie would go. However, she was not sticking around to find out. Nodding at Elliot, she walked away from the scene, trying to stifle her nosebleed and carry her bat at the same time. Elliot’s words about her and the team made her feel like throwing up. With blood spotting her black and yellow robes, which she had been so proud to wear until today, she made her way to the Hospital Wing.
