Adorah was feeling a little more excited about proctoring the second round of dueling. She waited until the opponents were ready and then gave them a smile. "One of you go to that side and the other over here. You'll bow and then start. Begin!" she said.

The duel begins now. You have 24 hours from this to post your first reply, or face disqualification. Once both duelists have posted, you will have 24 hours from your opponent's post to reply, or be disqualified. Ensure that you use the spell list for guidance on age-appropriate spells, and read over the dueling rules and points system. Please also remember site rules apply, including power/god modding. You can find the site rules here. Duels will run until there is a winner or until 6 IRL days have passed, in which case the winner will be chosen by RNG. If you are knocked out or otherwise disarmed/incapacitated, or if you run out of points, you will lose and the duel will end. Have fun!

Spectators are allowed to post in this topic once per competitor's post, but are forbidden from directly interfering with the duels. Duelers cannot cast spells at the spectators or face disqualification.

Of all the people he could have faced in a duel, why did it have to be her? James squared up to the temp and bowed to her, never taking his eyes off her. Instinctively covering himself at every opportunity. After taking his position James raised his wand to strike first and cast a babbling curse.

Leda had practically cackled when she heard who was next on her list of victims. She'd sort of a real duel with this man before, and it was the reason she was so spikey toward him. Of course, the former Gryffindor had gotten exactly what he deserved. The redhead blocked his spell, "Trying to give yourself another reason to seal my lips shut, Mr James?" Leda wasted no time in firing a Jelly-Leg jinx back at him. "Don't worry, when you fall to the ground this time, at least your wife will be there to cradle you." She said, glancing to the blonde in the crowd that she'd discovered had married the man. Leda never knew what happened to the brunette from that day, mind.

James would have to do his best not to rise to the bait that Leda no doubt put out. She clearly hadn't changed that much since their school days, though many would say the same about him. He blocked her jinx and case his own trip jinx back at her. "I won't be the one falling to the ground this time,"
