Chloë had been making her way through the castle, heading into rooms and asking around for people she didn't know but had roses to deliver to. There were a couple of people that she knew, some of them from her own house. Lysander was one of them. She hadn't come across him yet in the common room or any places in the castle she had been and now she was downstairs she decided the hall was always a good place to head during rose deliveries. The difficulty was that some of the people she had to deliver to were likely delivering roses as well, which meant they could literally be anywhere in the castle. With a bit of luck on her side however, Chloë spotted the boy close to the gryffindor table. "Lysandeeeeeeer." She called out as she waved to him, not even sure if he was doing a delivery himself or looking for someone but that would just have to wait. "Come get your rose!" She chuckled, still a distance away from him and wondering if he'd come to her or if he'd make her come his way to deliver the rose.

Lysander had been fairly busy with all his rose deliveries, though luckily for him, he'd managed to snag some of his teammates at the Gryffindor table to hand them theirs, without having to search the whole castle. It was nice to have familiar faces to deliver to - particularly when it had come to Sierra, since they'd no doubt be spending a lot of time co-captaining next year, and he was happy to spend some time with her before then. He wrapped up his deliveries and disentangled himself from conversation so he didn't waste too much time not sending out the rest of his roses, only to be caught by another teammate grabbing his attention. His smile brightened and he waved back, walking quickly towards her. "Chloeeee!" He said. He didn't need to be told twice. He'd gotten a lot of roses the previous year, and he was curious to know how many he'd get this time. "What colour have you got for me?" He asked with a grin. He expected yellow - he always got yellow - but a part of him always hoped for something else for once.

Chloë laughed when Lysander didn't seem to need any time to reach her at all. He sure was excited about getting those roses. It wasn't surprising though, since she remembered he had gotten quite a few of them last year. And who wasn't excited about getting roses? "Got you a yellow one!" She smiled as she held one of the yellow roses out for him to take before handing him the note that went with it as well. "Why? Did you expect a pink one from someone specific?" Chloë asked him curiously, wiggling her eyebrows at the mention of receiving a pink rose. She had delivered one red rose and one pink rose today and she had to admit those deliveries were interesting because they meant something more than friendship as most other, yellow roses did.

Lysander tried not to be too disappointed at getting a yellow rose. Any rose was great to have, he guessed, and it was his first, he had to assume there would be more to come if the previous year was any indication. Things were different now. He'd had his first kiss, and he was officially a teenager, so...something else would have been nice. He didn't really know what he wanted, but his friends seemed to be different since spin the bottle, or just since they were all getting older, and he thought he should be too. Still, he shook his head a little too quickly at Chloë's question. "Haha, no! As if." He laughed. "Pretty much just yellow. Are you expecting any other colours?" He asked, looking to turn the question around while he unfolded the note.

Chloë loved delivering roses. Last year had been fun, this year was fun as well but it had also made her a little bit more curious. Curious about the students she noticed receiving pink or red roses, curious if they had gotten it from someone they were seeing or an unknown admirer. It all was highly interesting to her, which was surprising because she last year she wouldn't have given it a second thought. Lysander's answer to her question seemed a little quick given, but Chloë didn't mind when he returned the question to her. "Nah, just yellow ones. Might have been nice though.. to get a different one." She answered with a shrug and a little smile, being completely honest. "Don't you think?"

Sander!
Happy Valentines day!
Ajax

Lysander found himself nodding in agreement, until he caught himself and stopped. "I guess so. You dunno, there's still plenty of time to get more roses today. You could still get a whole bouquet" He told her, quickly reading over the note. "Maybe even one from Ajax." He grinned teasingly, turning the paper around to show her who his was from. Hadn't they gone to one of the dances together? He stowed it away. "I have to finish my deliveries. Thanks for this, and good luck, I bet you're gonna get more." He offered with as much reassurance as he could. It was still early.
