Zennon walked into the Great Hall, he'd met, sort of, Wendall before, at the Summer water party and though he hadn't really spoken to the kid, he vaguely remembered him being in Hufflepuff robes, which at least narrowed him down from the entire school. "Has anyone seen Wendall Layton?" He asked a couple of the younger first years. He had his Parselmouth badge now pinned proudly to his chest, so anyone he saw now knew what he was, but he didn't care anymore.​

Wendall was just having some breakfast of his own before he got to his deliveries when he heard his own name and peered down the table to see the friend of the boy who’d kicked him. He had half a mind to just not respond, and let the boy continue and keep his head down, but since it looked like he had a rose for him, Wendall really wanted to know what he’d got. “Im Wendall,” he said after untucking himself from the bench, glaring at the older boy his cousin seemed to like.​
