Y49 Sorting Reactions!

Sorting is still a couple of days away, but that doesn't mean we can't have some exciting sorting chats here! It's never too early, right? As always, we love to hear your thoughts and reactions as we work through the process of sorting and transfers and exchanges! This is always such a fun time!

Are you having a character sorted or transferred this year? Maybe more than one? Ten? (You know who you are. )

Are you going to try for an exchange student?

Where do you think your character will end up?

Do you think they'll be happy about where they end up? How is it going to impact their first year or their entire schooling? Do you think the sorting hat will have a difficult time placing them? Any character expecting that the sorting hat won't be able to place them and they'll have to go home?

If you've already been sorted: Did you get what you/your character expected? Did the sorting hat say something funny to you? What'd you think of that? How nervous was your character to be sorted? How nervous were you?

The waiting is the hardest part. Because I have to think all the time whether I filled out the Sorting form correctly so that my girl gets into the house she wants. Even though it's not the first time I've done it.

Just finished Freddie's sorting form/RP, and I still think he'll end up in Slytherin, but Hufflepuff wouldn't totally shock me either?! The other two houses would be a big surprise but I've been surprised before

Hahahaha!!! Wow he’s the first Lagowski Ravenclaw (unless you count Rion). It’s funny because I 100% get it now that I think about it but this absolutely shocked me for a second. I can’t wait to see how he fits in here!!

I have filled Juni's form and I am still heavily leaning towards Hufflepuff but we shall see

did the sorting form for both my students! i initally was going to do one, but i came in at the last second and made another one hehe!!

my first and only inital student declan, after doing his form, i feel like he's leaning more towards gryffindor! but with the sorting hat we shall see hehe!

my last minute character is Eloise! she's the younger sister of miles flynn! (roleplayed by the lovely vicky!) after doing her form, i feel like she could either be in gryffindor or hufflepuff, but slightly leaning more towards hufflepuff!

we shall see and i cannot wait for them to be sorted as well as where everyone else will be sorted!

Gaia's form and RP definitely was far more vile than I thought she'd be I swear she has a nice side to her but my bet is on Slytherin.

After a mild heart attack for Gaia she is happily far far from her noisy sister and my gut feeling was right. She do be a Slytherin! Excited to see how she might dooo

Wow what a shock....so surprised lol. But yay! Happy to have her sorted and on her way. Every time I'm too confident in a house prediction I try and second guess myself and think I'm missing something. But yeah, she was always gonna be puff

I have someone to sort! I wasn't sure I was actually going to make her but here we are anyway. Kaysi Zhefarovich is the daughter of Kayleigh and Desislav Zhefarovich. Her mom was a Slytherin and her dad a Gryffindor. I'm excited to see where she ends up once I get around to sorting her!

I’m still reeling over here HAHA, I have never been so completely and utterly surprised by a sorting before! Like, it makes perfect sense in hindsight but I somehow completely overlooked it and I’m finding that so hilarious

I would love to know if the hat considered Slytherin at all, or if it was a super easy decision!!

I'm also surprised, but not too surprised secretly, I do enjoy that I still haven't had a year without any puffs at HNZ since Amber now, it was starting to look like a real possiblity.

It's a bit too early to call, but I do think its very unlikely Nessie is in Hufflepuff so it would be interesting if they're separated.

Slightly Unconventional Hufflepuff it is! Yeah I'm not surprised, he's very polite and considerate but I look forward to exploring the less typical Hufflepuff bits

I feel like I’ve been bouncing between the two houses Imagined Gryffindor for Ares forever, decided last couple of weeks he’d probably actually be more likely to get Slytherin, only to doubt myself again writing the form IS HE A GRYFF AT HEART? yes yes he is The Zephyr siblings are complete! One in each house! I have my three Glass children to sort next but I’ll probably do that at the weekend.
