Y49 Club Fair

Taylor had no idea what any of this was, she didn't do much when she was just a muggle, well, she was never just a muggle, she supposed, it was just that no one had ever seen fit to tell her otherwise until she was randomly and suddenly told she was actually a witch when she was like five or something and she'd somehow accidentally floated the car keys when her dad said they weren't allowed to go out. She still, to this day, had no idea what she'd intended to do with the car keys given she can't drive, but it had all come out then. She still had lived as a muggle until about a month ago, not even that, and now she was trying to figure out what anything was. Like this club fair. She had no idea what that was about because she didn't understand clubs at all. Still, when she walked in and saw everyone she quickly signed her name where everyone else was. She would find out more about the clubs later she supposed. Then she quickly headed back out so she could head somewhere a little more quiet.

Amias walked into the courtyard and glanced at the different stalls, but there was only one that caught his interest. He approached the brotherhood, he looked down at the sign up sheet and then back at the boy, the couple of boys there. "Ehhh," he tried to start, before pointing to the sheet, and feeling his cheeks redden. "CanIjoin?" he then said quickly.

Juniper had thought that maybe joining some clubs could be a good idea. Maybe she'd get friends that way and perhaps something else to do other than just sulking about missing home. The Hufflepuff had yet to let go of her jar of sand whenever she left the dormitories, it was just something to keep her feeling grounded she told herself as she walked through the courtyard with a lot of kids signing up for the clubs. It was all a bit overwhelming for her but eventually she made it to a stand with lots of flowers. Looking at the girl who was from her own house, a prefect even, Juni swallowed nervously. "I uh would like to join your club, ifthat'sokwithyou?" Juniper's speech was so quiet and it sped up by the end of it she was scared the girl wouldn't have heard her and she'd have to repeat. Shifting on her feet she nervously looked around waiting for the girl to tell her to either sign up or maybe just leave and never come back? @Hinata Edogawa

Juniper was still feeling the nerves from her previous interaction as she made a stop on the next stall of her choice. This club surely could provide her with friends, right? "Hi, I would like to join your club if that's okay?" She said nervously to yet again another prefect of her own house. @Bailey Walden-Cade

Amory grinned signing his name up to the list. "Oh I'll gladly test that one out! I bet I can do far better than our precious Lumière," He joked and then looked at his roommate. "Nah you'll hear loads of the name Lulu still just thought of something more fitting," He shrugged and then watched the blond get into work. Shaking his head the third year looked back at Teddy, "I'll see you at the first club meeting then!" He gave a quick salute before walking his way away from the crowd.

Freddie couldn't decide what to sign up for. Not the Brotherhood - he had a bad feeling about that one. Accio! might have been fun, but he wasn't particularly good with a camera, and anyway, he couldn't trust himself not to take unflattering photos of people he didn't like. The Conglomerated Arts club, maybe? He was definitely considering it. The girl behind the stall had a nice smile. Hesitantly, waiting for a gap in the crowd, Freddie approached her. "Hi," he said. "What do you do?"

Priyanka thought this day was going to be interesting, because today there was a school club joining event in the yard. She decided to be involved in one of them. Only in which ones did she not have the least, which ones and how many she will choose this year. At first she had decided to look at what was available. At first, Priya walked around looking at all the clubs to decide which one to join. She thought for a few minutes, then approached the girl a couple of tables back. "Hello! I want to sign up for a club." she smiled at the girl, who was obviously older than her.
@Bailey Walden-Cade

"Yatta! I wanna join to!" He said, walking up to the people standing around the Brotherhood signs. It looked pretty cool and he was pretty sure that this was one of the groups his brother was in, it was hard to tell because there was a lot of groups and they all seemed to do different things. "Do I just sign here?"

He could sign up for the Wild Patch with his sister later he figured.

Nik knew where she wanted to go and the moment she saw Horror, her face blushed crimson before she quickly signed her name on the Heta Omega sheet @Bailey Walden-Cade and then made her way over to the Defence Group. "Hi Horror!" She called as she headed over to him. She couldn't stop thinking about the way he'd thrown her out. That was so cool, and even if she was still upset, she couldn't help how it made her feel. "Are you the leader of this one? That makes sense, I'm sure you're the best person for the job." She steadfastly ignored whoever the girl was that he was with, she wasn't important, Nik only cared about Horror.

Eloise gasps excitedly when she is handed a flower crown, as she hadn't expected to get one herself. She then grins at the girl. "Thank you! It's really pretty!" Eloise says with a smile. She then nods when the club leader tells her where to sign. The new Hufflepuff then gently gets a hold of a signup sheet, before putting her name down and handing it back to the older girl. @Hinata Edogawa

"Thanks! See you later!" Eloise says with a smile before heading out of the wild patch stall, before continuing to walk around the club fair to see if there were any clubs that interested her. She then grinned when she saw what look liked to be a girls club and skipped happily towards it. "Hello! Is this like a girls club? What do you guys do? Where do I sign up?" @Bailey Walden-Cade

Ruby circled the fair looking for a club that she liked the sound of. She stopped at the Hogwarts Monthly stand, "I like writing." She replied to the extra call, "How do I join?" She looked between the girl and the boy, settling on whichever one responded first. @Miranda Dawes @Hugo Stark-West

So I can have more than one sister? She asked excited. So let's do it. Where should I sign up? @Bailey Walden-Cade

January was surprised to see that the courtyard was already full of classmates buzzing around. She wasn't really sure where to begin. She kept her hands clasped behind her back as she walked past all the tables wondering what she should join. She felt suddenly shy as she approached the older girl standing at one of the tables that looked like an art's club. She wasn't quite as creative as her sister but she saw the drama masks and thought she might have some fun there. "Hi." she said softly. "Do I just need to sign my name?" @Lucy Montague

Lucy smiled as another student came along. "Yes, sewing definitely counts! Painting of any kind, doing anything with fabric - if it's creative, we've got supplies in our clubroom. Just sign here if you want to join," Lucy said, indicating the signup sheet.
@Mania Athanasiou

Another student showed up and Lucy quickly switched over to him. "We do arts! Anything to do with visual arts, performing arts, musical, sewing, even cooking. You don't even have to be someone currently into art to join, if you want to learn there's plenty of opportunity to. So feel free to join if you want." Lucy gave a smile, hoping that was a good sales pitch.
@Freddie Lagowski

Lucy looked up as another student turned up and gave them a smile. "Yep, that's it, just sign here," she said, drawing attention to the signup sheet. She was pleased with the turnout this year.
@January Parish

Music, sewing, cooking - Freddie could do all those things without being in a club. Still, if it got Susie off his back...

Oh. January. She was joining too? Well then, Freddie already knew one club member. Suddenly feeling infinitely less intimidated, he added his name to the list. It wasn't like he had to show up to any meetings if he changed his mind. "Thanks."

@Lucy Montague @January Parish

Mania grinned, oh this would be excellent. "Great, yup! I'm innn!" She said as she signed her name on the list.

The club fair was just as busy as always and Bailey had barely had time to set up the booth for Heta Omega before she was surrounded by young girls wanting to join. It was great to see so many first years clamouring to be a part of her club and she couldn't wait to see what each of them brought to the first meeting and everything beyond. One young Gryffindor quickly signed her name on the sign up sheet and had disappeared before Bailey had chance to say anything. Bailey smiled at a young hufflepuff she recognised from the welcome feast, she loved seeing first years from her own house joining the sisterhood. "Of course, just put your name down on the sign up sheet and we'll let you know when the first meeting is," More students arrived and Bailey tried to give each one as much attention as she could while directing them to the sign up sheet. "Anyone who wants to join just needs to sign their name on the sign up sheet," She pushed the sheet closer to the edge of the table so the first years could sign it. "Hi," She beamed at another young Hufflepuff who asked what they did in the club. "Yes this is a girls club, you can sign up on the sheet, we do all kinda of things, we have sleep overs and social events and we sometimes do join events with the boys from the brotherhood but not always, theres only so much time we can spend with boys you know?" She laughed and made sure she was able to sign up.

Juniper gave a soft smile and added her name to the list. "Thank you," The Hufflepuff said before walking away quickly.

She smiled broadly as she looked at her signature and shifted her amused gaze to her older sister before disappearing. There will come a time to talk, but the big hunt for friends is about to begin.

Teddy picked up the clipboard and handed it to the Hufflepuff first, "Absolutely, just add your name here." He told him. @Amias Driscoll When a Gryffindor came along next, Teddy nodded, "Yeah join us! Just sign your name once the clipboard is available." He explained, he was keen to pick up a few more new members before the event closed. @Lewis Edogawa

Priyanka, before signing, had heard about the girls' club and it sounded interesting. She smiled at the older girl, then picked up a pen to sign the list.
@Bailey Walden-Cade

Then Priya moved on to the next table, which was called Conglomerated Arts club, so she went closer and asked. You could tell that art was a part of her life, why not join a club related to it. "Hi! I want to know what your club does? What kind of things can you do there?" she asked, smiling at the girl.
@Lucy Montague

January smiled at the older girl and quickly wrote her name down on the list. As she turned she saw Freddie and smiled at him too. "Oh you're joining too?" she asked. "How exciting!" @Freddie Lagowski

Once she was done with that January spotted another table with a few other girls around. She quickly scanned the Heta Omega display and decided she should sign up for it too. Once there was an opening she stepped forward and added her name to the list. @Bailey Walden-Cade

Freddie flashed January a strained smile, then turned and walked away. Merlin - she didn't think he'd only signed up because she had, right? He wanted to join! It was just a bonus that she'd be there! Urgh. Now he'd have to go and pretend to sign up for something else, so he didn't look like he was copying her.

@January Parish

Eloise nodded as the older girl explained about the club, already interested with the club with what she had to say. Eloise nodded her head and immediately signed her name on the sign up sheet. "Sweet! Thanks!" Eloise says with a grin. She then says a quick bye to the leader, before leaving the stall to have a look around one last time to see if there were anymore clubs that had interested her before deciding to head out.

@Bailey Walden-Cade

Declan had decided to come to the club fair a little later than intended. He had been busy feeding his tarantula, he had lost track of time. Once he realised what time it had been, he quickly yet clumsily locked his tarantula in its cage and ran down to the courtyard where the club fair had been, glad that there seemed to be a lot of people still there. He walked around the courtyard, looking around, and he noticed the boys club before deciding to make his way towards the brotherhood stall. "Hey, what sorta stuff do you guys do?" Declan says with a small grin, curious about what the club entailed.

@Teddy Pirrip

Teddy noticed a boy approach the stall and swooped in to answer his question before Lumos. "Hey! We do loads of fun activities, last year we played musical chairs against the girls and the year before it was tug of war. We have different themed meetings as just the Brotherhood too." Teddy explained, "Just sign the parchment if you'd like to join." @Declan Burke
