Open Y48 Club Fair

Once she has finished signing up with the girls, she heads over to @Lucy Montague to sign with her too before heading out.

Remy felt like it was far too late for him to start a whole new endeavor like joining a club now. Plus, he was certain he'd be too busy catching up on his studies to have any free time in his final year. Time was a menace like that. These very sound reasons for not joining a club seemed to have vanished as he ended up at the fair without any intention of attending to begin with. A fresh started sounded... nice. Remy knew he was about to experience some serious fear of missing out if he didn't sign up for anything, and needed to pick something before he either tried everything or bailed. Angling himself around the younger students, he approached the Wild Patch club stall because Zerrin was a familiar face. "I'm just here for the cupcakes," Remy muttered, swiping one as he signed his name on the list and left.

Ruth signed her name up and gave an extra big smile to the girl running the stand, mostly because she looked like she'd just swallowed a lemon. "Great, thanks!" she said, as cheerfully as possible, before heading off to see what else was going on.

@Savannah Walters

Savannah glanced at the girl and shook her head, pointing to the sign. "We're the Student Defence Association, not the duelling club, so yes," she told her. Feeling like it was pretty obvious.

Felix had been on the fence as to whether or not to sign up to the Brotherhood. On the one hand it sounded like a good way to get to know more of the boys in the school and make some more friends, however he had heard of some of the drama that happened last year, that caused a rift between some of the students and his friends. Lingering near the table, he watched as other students signed their name up on the list, and Felix thought he knew one of the leaders names. Teddy? He was one of their new prefects and he was pretty sure he was his sisters friend too. "Do you only do games and things?" he asked the older boy, wondering if there would be some sort of support system for the boys as well.

@Teddy Pirrip

Teddy greeted the boy when he came to the stand, "Hey Felix," He said, he knew who he was and that he was Ten's little brother. "We do play a lot of games," Teddy admitted, "But that's not the only thing we do, we're a Brotherhood about friendship and support." He explained, "And you get access to the Brotherhood club room which is a nice quiet place to hang out in too."
@Felix Layton-King

Felix thought about Teddy's reply for a moment, that there would be more to the club that just playing games. Upon hearing there was a whole other room for them too, the Gryffindors eyes widened. He hadn't even considered that there were rooms in the castle he had yet to uncover, and the idea that if he didn't join the club, he wouldn't see all of the castle, well that was no fun. "Count me in," Felix grinned, jotting his name down once a quill was available. It would be fun, he thought, to do some more things with people this year, and Felix was looking forward to seeing what they'd get up to.

Doyle heard about the club fair but hadn't given it much thought until he was walking through the courtyard and saw it full of people. He wasn't really one for organized activities at his old school but seeing all the commotion now he thought that maybe he should be. He took a quick look around and wasn't sure what the SDA was but the rest seemed fairly normal clubs, especially the newspaper. He didn't think he was a particularly good writer but it seemed interesting and it couldn't hurt. "Hi." he said shyly. "So I just sign my name?" he asked, and wondered if there was something magic in the clipboard that might bind him in some more serious way. @Miranda Dawes

Ignatius recognised Teddy, of course, the boy was well known around the school. It was heartening to know that he knew who he was, but he just hoped it wasn't from that horrible article written by that ogre. He signed his name stiffly, nodding. "...thanks, Teddy," he said in a small voice - it was a bit sad to thank the older boy for very little but considering Teddy had acknowledged him he could be just polite enough to do the same in return. Just barely.

Miranda was in a bit of a rhythm, she figured Hugo was pretty busy but she had things under control. Still, she was grateful he showed up to help, as plenty of students wanted to join. "Hey, sure thing! Just put your name down here and we'll handle the rest," she greeted one of them, handing a sheet over to the boy before turning to Hugo with a grin. "It's going well, we've got a lot of interest this year! Some of these kids have great ideas," she added, thinking of the pet care information one boy brought up. Right on cue, another boy showed up and Miranda gave a warm smile, even though her cheeks were starting to hurt. "Yep! If you could just scribble your name down here that would be wonderful! We've got quills and pens, whatever you'd prefer to use," she offered up, gesturing to the writing tools she had on hand. Just like her mum, she wasn't picky or judgy either way when it came to writing.

Angelo beamed as the older student offered pens. He didn't think he'd ever get used to using the quills so he used the pens to scribble his name down quickly. "Tenk-yo!" he yelled as he ran off to ask about the Brotherhood before the fair ended - he probably shouldn't tell his mum if he joined the frat though, she'd go spare. "Hi, are there initiations here?" he asked the boy who seemed to be in charge. His mum had always told him never to join one because he might die. The boys seemed nice though, so he didn't think it would be too bad.

@Miranda Dawes @Teddy Pirrip

The Club Fair was coming to a gradual end and Teddy was happy with the number of new sign ups he'd had so far. He said bye to Ignatius then smirked at the next question, "Er, no, nothing like that," he said, shaking his head. "We just hang out, play games and support each other." He said offering the parchment, "Just sign here if you'd like to join."
