Y42 S1 Ravenclaw Practice

Hamish winced as he immediately got hit by a bludger again, taking a minute to breath through the pain.

Sawyer glanced briefly over, smiling when he saw Michael make a solid hit and Hamish managed to keep playing through it, both things they'd need during the game for sure, before training his eyes back on the quaffle.

Michael's next hit didn't go near anybody.

"Galleon's still on the table," Sawyer called to Michael, drifting slightly off to the side of the hoops with a grin.

Lily secretly hoped she could catch the snitch one more time, but she knew the chance was pretty low.

Sawyer drifted some near the hoops, glancing at the sky over head and hoping the weather was clearer for their upcoming match.

Michael hit a bludger, and it almost made it through the hoops. But not quite.

No snitch for Lily unfortunately. Well she did found a floating sweets wrapper that sparkled in the light.

It was probably tempting fate but Sawyer couldn't help but wave his arms reminiscent of a matador as Michael knocked a bludger close to the hoops. He had to say the beaters' aim this practice was definitely better than he'd seen last year.

Rule 2a.

Rory scooped up the quaffle and began making his way towards the hoops and made an attempt of his own at the hoops. He failed and it was easily saved.

Michael flew after a bludger, swinging and missing.

Sefina caught nothing.

Michael didn't manage to get bat on bludger.

Valeria missed the bludger she was going for

Xiuying caught the quaffle when it was thrown back out, circling around the pitch and making her way towards the hoops.

Lily was pretty sure the snitch had enough for today.

When Xiuying was close enough to the hoops, the girl threw the quaffle towards the hoops, smiling when it managed to go through the hoop.

Michael chased after a bludger.

Sawyer was glad to see Rory getting a little aggressive grabbing the quaffle though he was still a bit green and easy enough to block. Xiuying however he was still having trouble reading this practice, which he hoped was a good sign for their chances against Gryff, shaking off the goal as he threw the quaffle back into play.

Sawyer checked his watch, hoping they could squeeze a bit longer out of practice before calling it a day.

Michael wasn't having much luck. The bludgers seemed to be temperamental.

Sawyer shrugged his shoulders as he hovered in front of the hoops, trying to ease out the tension there from a long practice.
