Y41 S2 Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice

Michael gave a sheepish grin, he probably should've called it out better but he followed along, keen to watch more of the older and more experienced chasers at work.

When Xiuying was close enough to the hoops, she threw the quaffle towards the hoop and it said right through the hoop, which pleased Xiuying.

Sefina searched for the snitch.

Hamish continued his search.

"I take it back," Sawyer said, once again making the dip of shame to scoop up the descending quaffle. "Passing is making you too powerful. Who decided three on one was fair anyway," he groused, throwing the quaffle back into play.

Branson grabbed the ball as it was thrown back out.

Valeria missed the bludger she was going for.

Sawyer shifted himself back to the center hoop, trying to square up so Branson couldn't make it a hat trick.

(rule 2a)

Michael was glad he'd gotten to pass the quaffle, and now thought he'd be a bit daring and grab it off Branson, hoping the older boy didn't mind. It was good practice for taking on another team.

Michael clearly had gotten cocky, or Sawyer was riled up to defend, or both, as the quaffle did not make it through the hoop. He shrugged. Scoring was good but not scoring on your own keeper was also good.

Branson grabbed the ball as it was thrown back out determined to score this time.

Valeria failed to hit the bludger in the direction she wanted to.

As soon as Bran was close he threw the quaffle hard to the centre most hoop and it sailed in quickly.

Valeria was very disappointed to miss the bludger she was aiming for.

Xiuying got a hold of the quaffle when it was thrown back into the game and circle her way towards the hoops.

Michael was getting tired, but he watched carefully as Branson scored and then Xiuying grabbed the quaffle, giving his arms a bit of a stretch.

When Xiuying was close enough to the hoops, she threw the quaffle towards the hoops, and it successfully made its way through the hoop.

Sawyer had to snort as Michael stole the quaffle from Branson, shaking his head. Maybe he'd made a monster in nudging Michael to join the team, but he wasn't going to complain. He managed to block Michael's shot but then Branson and Xiuying scored in quick succession which wasn't as reassuring. He wanted the chasers to do well in the upcoming match but he knew he also needed to stop Gryffindor from scoring too.

Branson grabbed the ball when it was thrown back out into play.

Valeria failed to hit another bludger.

Sawyer shifted his broom, deciding he wasn't going to keep making it easy for the chasers even if he was tired.

Sawyer wiped sweat from his eye, checking his watch in the process and startling when he noticed the time. They'd need to pack up now to have enough time to clean up and get back to the castle without anyone missing any class. "Okay, good job everyone, we'll keep working on goals and defense before the match," he said, blowing his whistle before moving to wrangle the bludgers and wherever the snitch had gotten to.

OOCOut of Character:
That's it everyone, the game is now up over here, see you there!
