Y41 S1 Gryffindor Quidditch Practice

Nikko put on a brave face as a bludger came his way. He gave Rosie a thumbs up to show he was ok, just in time to block Louis' shot.

Soren caught the ball as it came back into play and started around again..

There was some more flying.

Elara was momentarily distracted by Zay's gorgeous locks when she heard some zooming and saw Flynn successfully catch the snitch. She was falling behind... again. Elara was trying not to let it all get to her and was determined to focus, quickly scanning the skies. It took a while, but she thought she saw something, and trying not to let Flynn catch on, went lower to zoom towards the ball, feeling her fingers wrap around it.

Nikko kept watch as one of the new chasers got hold of the quaffle. He was glad to see them getting the hang of it.

Soren made his way back around, trying again. He sighed when the Keeper caught it. So close. He was sure he'd get it next time.

Isaiah’s attention shifted from the bludger he had been chasing to watching El as she caught the snitch. He flew by with a small cheer and a wink before getting back to chasing bludgers.

Aurora knew she was likely to have no more success but she'd had some and it was more than enough.

"Its about time!" He couldn't help but shout when he finally saw Elara catch the snitch for the first time.

Zee was a little annoyed that she had not gotten the quaffle the entire practice so far. She needed to get her head in the game. She could not just fly around without a purpose. The other chasers seemed to be doing well, but she wanted to do amazing. The young Gryffindor watched as Soren missed the shot. She hovered near the goal waiting for the quaffle to be tossed back in. This had to be her chance.

Isaiah turned around when he heard Flynn shout something after El had caught the snitch. "Just lay off, dude!" He called out, already back to getting annoyed by the boy's attitude.

"Lay off what I wasn't complaining I was being encourging and sh*t," if he was complaining about something people would know about it.

Aurora failed to hit the next bludger she aimed for.

Huffing somewhat, Flynn just pushed everyone else from his head before turning around and going back to looking for the snitch.

Louis was a little distracted, interested in the bit of drama unfolding on the pitch. He glanced between Flynn and Isaiah curiously.

He was already over everyone, keeping his eyes fixed forward. And it was a good thing he did otherwise he might have missed the sudden flash of gold. Racing forward after it, he grinned rather triumphantly as he once more grabbed the snitch right out of the air.

Nikko turned to where Flynn and Isaiah were talking, he couldn't quite make out what they were saying but he could tell the tone was tense. He kept an eye on them and relaxed when they seemed to resolve the situation themselves.

Soren caught the quaffle as it was thrown back in and started around again.

Letting the snitch go, Flynn decided to wait for a moment as he just sat there in the air.

Soren came back and tried again, cursing softly to himself when he missed. Nikko was good.

Zee felt like she wasn’t doing anything and it was honestly getting on her nerves. She saw as the other chaser missed the goal, waiting for the quaffle to be thrown in again. She had to at least get one goal, eventually.

Aurora failed to hit a bludger as it came towards her instead just dodging out the way.

Flynn continued to hang around for the moment, wanting the snitch to fly off before he started looking again. He needed more of a challenge.

Nikko was glad to see he was holding his own against the new chasers. but didn't want them to get discouraged.

Soren caught the quaffle as it was thrown back in, but spotted an older chaser nearby. "Zee! Heads up!" He called out, throwing her the quaffle. @Zephryn Spencer
