Y39 Slytherin Practice S1

Lucie kept her focus, despite the practice going on for quite a while. She watched as the chasers stole the ball off each other, keeping an eye on the one that was approaching.

Ivelisse continued looking.

Indi threw the quaffle at the hoops and wasn’t even surprised when it didn’t go through the hoops anymore.

Celia tried to bat another bludger at Ruben, but she missed. Maybe her luck had run out. She tried not to dwell on that unfortunate possibility as she crossed the pitch, heading for the other bludger.

Ivelisse flew around the pitch as she tried to catch sight of the snitch.

Indi hung back by the hoops to see who would take the quaffle next. Hopefully someone would break their streak eventually.

Natalia grabbed the quaffle, glad Indi had at least failed to score. She shot her a dirty look before flying off.

It was clear the chasers needed help. Celia caught up with the bludger and tried to send it towards Lucie, but it soared past the keeper and hit @Indira Khatri. She smiled tightly, trying to give off the impression that she'd meant to do that. But inside, she was growing annoyed with herself. Why weren't any of her hits landing where they were supposed to?

Ruben kept searching the snitch, he would catch it again, he was sure of it.

The only solution to failure, as far as Celia was concerned, was practicing until you were guaranteed success. She flew after another bludger, determined to redeem herself.

Indi followed Natalia closely as she made her way around the pitch. She was curious if the other girl would actually make a goal this time.

Celia caught up with the bludger and tried to hit it towards Ruben. But she could tell the angle was off as soon as her bat made contact, and her shot went wide. Frowning, she took off after the bludger.

Natalia cursed loudly as she missed another shot.

Ruben kept searching for the snitch, he was sure he could find it before the end of practice once more.

Ivelisse continued looking for the snitch, sneaking a glance at Ruben to see if he was on to something but it didn't seem like it.

Celia tried to hit another bludger and frowned when she was barely able to get it to charge course. She was growing tired, and she could tell her arms would be useless tomorrow.

Ivelisse kept on looking.

Ruben kept looking for the snitch but he was still being unsuccessful at spotting it.

Indi chuckled to herself as Natalia swore but she could understand the feeling they were both struggling. But she grabbed the quaffle and starting making her lap around the pitch.

Celia sped up until she was flying alongside the bludger. Keeping one eye on @Ruben Right, she whacked the bludger towards him, grinning when it made contact. It felt like it had been forever since she'd managed to get one of her bludgers to hit her intended target, and she struggled not to look too happy.

Lucie was glad that her roommate didn't score. She kept an eye on the other chaser as she made her way to the hoops.

Indi missed the goal again. Her theory about the hoops having some kind of anti quaffle charm on them grew.

After hitting Ruben, Celia was determined to get the other co-captain. She followed a bludger, mentally calculating the best angle, before hitting it towards @Daintree Vaskevold. She beamed when it landed. In some ways, beaters were harder to hit than seekers, Celia thought. After all, they had bats to defend themselves with.

Lucie was quick to catch the next shot, throwing it back out again.

Ruben kept searching for the snitch, he had to find it.
