Y37 Ilvermorny Quidditch Practice S2

Dominic spotted Hyun and figured he could use another shot at the goal. He already had some luck and it might teach Adam some humility. "Look alive!" he called and passed the quaffle. @Hyun Ong Hae
 
AJ squared up as a bludger approached him and Hope, pleased that he was able to knock it away. He'd been trying to send it towards the other beaters, but the angle had been bad to avoid hitting Hope and instead veered off into @Einar Haines instead.
 
Einar felt the bludger hit as he was watching the captain pass to the newer member of the team. He groaned, but focused on following the guy who had the quaffle.
 
Eli scowled when he saw AJ had hit another person. He flew after the bludger, but missed his own attempt to hit it entirely.

Adam rolled his eyes as the quaffle was passed to the cocky new kid. He looped between the hoops, keeping an eye out.
 
AJ was glad Einar seemed tougher than Lucas when it came to taking bludger hits, but he still would have preferred to hit someone he was actually aiming for. Refocusing, he resumed tailing after Hope, feeling a bit better about keeping the bludgers away.
 
Lucas followed quietly after the others, biting his lip when Einar was hit next and immediately having to resist the urge to fly over and check on him. He knew Einar was stronger than he was, but that didn't make him feel any better about it.
 
Adam sighed, his eyes wandering to follow after Hope's path in the sky. Still no snitch catch. If it were him, he was certain he would have caught it already, because he was just so good at Quidditch in every way. Perhaps then they wouldn't be losing to Beauxbatons every year.
 
Hope looked around, glad that she wasn't hit yet by an bludger though. Bit still no sign of the snitch.
 
rule 2a

Einar saw an opportunity and flew forward to grab the ball from the chaser that had it.
 
Adam snickered as Einar managed to steal the quaffle.
 
Eli hit a bludger at Hope, but frowned as he flew right past her instead.
 
AJ had been tailing Hope, trying to give her some distance so she could search properly. He only spotted the bludger Eli had hit too late, trying to shoot forward to knock it away but he was too slow. Thankfully, the bludger still missed her and AJ sagged on his broom in relief.
 
As soon as Einar was close enough he threw the ball, frustrated as it didn't go in and of course because he knew that the keeper would get a real kick out of him failing to score.
 
Lucas winced when Einar didn't make the shot, flying down to grab it himself. He glanced around, looking to see if anyone else wanted it while he started flying back around the pitch.
 
After the close call with Eli, AJ was on guard for any approaching bludgers. Spotting one on course to pass their way, AJ squared up, ready to knock it straight towards Zeke. His stomach sank though as he watched the bludger bounce off the inside edge of his bat, careening straight into @Hope Thompson instead. "Crap, Hope, I'm so sorry," He said awkwardly, hands raised in weak apology for such a bad hit.

Lucas was determined to make up for what had happened earlier. He made it back to the hoops, more careful this time, and he couldnt help but smile broadly as the ball soared past Adam. He immediately looked to Einar, excited and hoping the other boy saw his success.
 
Still hovering awkwardly around Hope, AJ wondered if he should give her some space. He was glad when Lucas managed to score, if only to draw any attention away from the hit he just made.
 
Adam scoffed in annoyance as Lucas got past him, and immediately turned to his boyfriend for praise. Couples seriously had no place in Quidditch. He tossed the quaffle back into play and hovered back.
 
Decided maybe he was doing a bit more harm than good hanging this close to Hope, AJ gave her more space, letting himself fall further and further behind her as he kept an eye out for more bludgers.
 
Hyun grinned when Lucas scored as well, "Nice one, dude!" He was the one to catch the quaffle again ad set off down the pitch.
 
Einar gave Lucas an encouraging expression when he managed to score, but focused, following behind the chaser who had caught the ball.
 
Adam glowered at Hyun as he sped off, and kept an eye out for the quaffle's return.
 
Professor Katherine Alicastell said:
Katherine flew onto the pitch and caught the snitch. "YOU GUYS SUCK. HNZ RULES." She screamed before flying off.

Hope flew further and felt a bit safe with AJ close. But than that one person managed to hit her. And she felt flashbacks from the last game. Feeling more scared than before. Hope tried to shake it away and continued her search.
