Y37 Ilvermorny Quidditch Practice S1

Zeke managed to catch up to a bludger, smashing into it and grinning widely as it soared right past everyone and into @Adam Everett. He winked before taking off again.

The breath left Adam as a second bludger smacked into him, and he glared daggers at the newbie beater. He'd meant to do that. "Imagine being so bad at your job that you target the one player that moves around the least. What a f****ing joke." He shouted, with an audible scoff of disgust. He hadn't put it past Eli to target him, but this random new serial-winker? Who did he think he was? It seemed as if all the newer players were out to get him, no doubt envious of his spot as the most skilled player on the team. He had some criticisms to voice in regards to Dominics poor team choices, come the end of practice. This why he should have been captain instead.

AJ managed to bat away a bludger, turning his head in time to hear Adam yelling after getting hit again. There was a reason AJ did his best to avoid Adam both on and off the pitch if he could.

Zeke raised a brow, not fazed by Adam's outburst. "Last I checked, we've smacked every team member once." He shrugged. "I figured if the little guy could take two hits and still try his best, the team star would be the guy that could shoulder that extra blow." Zeke raised both hands up in an 'ah well' motion. "Guess I overestimated your strength, pretty boy. Careful, Red!" Zeke called over to Eli. Zeke shrugged again, laughing lightly. "Nice moxie, little guy," he directed at Lucas, before flying off again. Lucas and Adam had been hit twice, Zeke was wracking his brain now to try and remember who else had been hit.

Adam visibly cringed at the boys last comments, making a loud, audible retching sound. "Ew, gross." He shuddered, his expression full of distaste. He wasn't a stranger to compliments but the last person he wanted calling him pretty boy and trying to get his attention at every chance was one of the Quidditch losers. "Why are you so obsessed with me? Stop being such a creep." He spat. Ugh, these social nobodies were a waste of his time. This whole practice was a waste of his time.

Zeke ignored Adam easily, giving up on the bludgers for a bit since he couldn't recall who had been hit how many times- unless he decided to take out Adam Zeke didn't feel like putting anybody in the wing today. Too much trouble. He focused on his flying instead, knowing good form was just as crucial as a good hit.

Hope continued her flying taking than an moment to catch her breath and spot any sign of the golden snitch somewhere up. She heard the boys going on and rolled her eyes. This team excisted off many man. With their ego’s. She hoped that she could show them the snitch soon.

Hyun was finding it incredibly amusing when Adam was hit by another bludger, but he didn't say anything, keep his amusement to himself. Instead, he just focused on where the quaffle was on the pitch, grabbing it up and tucking it under his arm as he soared towards the hoops for another attempt.

Eli was almost disappointed when Zeke hit Adam, because now he couldn't anymore without Dominic probably being angry at him. He snorted at the exchange between them, but stayed out of it. He didn't like Zeke a lot himself, but he appreciated anyone standing up to Adam. Eli smacked a bludger, watching as it soared to their seeker and hit her in the side. With her being the only girl on the team, Eli supposed he should feel a bit guilty about it, but he didn't really. She knew the risks of playing.

@Hope Thompson

Adam smiled triumphantly, feeling as if he'd won the exchange given Zekes no doubt humiliated silence. He wavered between the hoops, trying not to rub his arm just to prove to everyone that he was tough, on top of being the star player.

Lucas was quiet, trailing along silently behind the other new chaser. He felt bad he'd missed his shot, but not as bad after one of the other boys had stuck up for him against Adam.

Zeke whistled a merry little tune to himself, running his laps happily as he thought up a plan for after practice. He would hit up the showers, definitely, but outside of that he wasn't really sure.

Hope heard that annoying noice again and was too late to avoid it and the second bludger made contact with her. She made an painfull voice and looked out at the beaters. This was not helping her, but she understood they had to train as well. '' I think I am not an target anymore now...'' She flew closer to their captain hoping he would back her up a bit. Otherwise she would never catch the snitch. She sighted and continued. Glad their beaters were doing good, but she didn't liked to be an target.
@Dominic Torres

Once Hyun got close enough to shoot he chucked the quaffle at the hoop, grumbling when it went a little wide. He'd get it next time.

AJ had been focusing on hunting down a bludger and was not watching Hope as closely as he been before, which is of course when she got hit. Feeling guilty, he hovered nearby cautiously while she spoke to Dominic.

Adam caught the quaffle, ignoring the slight pain, and tossed it back into play with another smug look.

AJ half-heartedly knocked another bludger away. It hadn't really been in danger of hitting Hope or even Dominic, and he didn't hit it anywhere with real direction, but at least he felt like he was doing something.

"Keep it civil guys!" he shouted at Adam and Zeke. Dominic had hoped the new players wouldn't feed into Adam's nonsense and was a little disappointed they seemed to be playing right into it. He gave a sympathetic look to Hope as she few up next to him. "You're right." he said before turning back to the team. "Beaters! Lay off Hope for a bit if you can!" he announced before grabbing the quaffle again and making his way around the pitch.

Adam ignored Dominic's call out with the briefest roll of his eyes. They should have been keeping it civil. He was doing nothing wrong.

AJ was glad Dominic spoke up, hoping things didn't escalate with the team any more. It was distracting to say the least. He nodded at the instruction to leave Hope alone, though he still stuck by her in case any bludgers got ideas on their own.

Dominic didn't really see an opening with any of the other chasers to score, so he tried again but he missed. He sighed, glad Adam was doing his job but frustrated he wasn't doing better.

Trying to keep a bit of a perimeter on Hope, even if the others weren't actively targeting her, AJ kept his eye open for incoming bludgers.

Dominic waited to see who would grab the quaffle next and looked around at the rest of the team. They all seemed to be doing alright, and thankfully Hope hadn't gotten hit again.

Adam caught the quaffle and tossed it back into play, as if it were no big thing.

Determined, Lucas caught the ball as it was thrown back into play. He began to loop around again.
