It was down to the finals, and Katherine lead the last two competitors of the tournament to the stage. She motioned for them each to take their places, before taking her own to preside over them. She cleared her throat. "Mr Lee. Mr Irons. This is your final round, before one of you will earn the title of champion of your year. Make this duel count. Now, wands at the ready, and prepare yourselves." She informed them, giving pause to allow them a moment to get ready. "Now, bow and commence."
The duel begins now. You have 24 hours from this to post your first reply, or face disqualification. Once both duelists have posted, you will have 24 hours from your opponents post to reply, or be disqualified. Ensure that you use the spell list for guidance on age-appropriate spells, and read over the dueling rules and points system. Duels will run until there is a winner or until 6 IRL days have passed, in which case the winner will be chosen by RNG. If you are knocked out or otherwise disarmed/incapacitated, or if you run out of points, you will lose and the duel will end. Have fun!

As an added note: Spectators are allowed to post in this topic once per competitors post, but are forbidden from directly interfering with the duels.

If Blake was totally honest with himself, as desperately as he wanted to win, he really didn't want to fight this duel. The apology he still owed Tyler weighed heavy on his shoulders, and he would have much preferred if he could pull off a victory without having to duel his former best friend. But of course, he was never going to pull off a win without facing Tyler. They were the only duellists in their year who could really match each other, in Blake's opinion. He didn't take his eyes off his roommate as he bowed, taking a chance on moving first and hoping he could get a spell off before Tyler. Relying on his reflexes, Blake shifted fast and fired a spell while he was moving, hoping the same strategy that had worked against Aonghas would work in his favour again. "Stupefy!"

Tyler had known it would come to this, but he embraced it. If he beat Blake in this duel, it would finally mean he had bested his former best friend. It would prove to everyone and to himself that Blake was no longer better than him, that Tyler was better. He was the one who ran the club, he had to win. He just had to. Tyler bowed formally, then blocked Blake's first spell. He had expected him to strike first, Blake had always been impatient. Tyler cast obscuro next, hoping to disadvantage his opponent.

Blake knew better than to expect his first spell to knock Tyler out, so he kept moving after he cast, shielding quickly against Tyler's next spell. He hoped his tactic of moving around more and breaking with usual duelling posture would work in his advantage, as he dropped low to cast his next spell from an angle Tyler wouldn't expect. "Expelliarmus!"

Due to the 24 hour rule the SDA co-leader loses how awkward for you Tyler.
