Y36 Beauxbatons Quidditch Practice S1

There was some movement from the other players around the pitch, and Orélie was tempted to look, but she wanted to stay focused on Bijoux and the quaffle. Taking a sharp turn as she reached the hoops, Orélie grinned as her shot made it through before it could be blocked.
 
Mualla continued to tail her Seeker. If guarding him was her task, then guarding him she shall. She hit away the next bludger that came a little too close to him, whacking it towards Sophia but seeing it go off course and hit @Nadine De Rosier instead.
 
Sophia turns in time to see the bludger hit Nadine. The teen wince sympathetically for her teammate. Mualla is damn good with the bat. Sophia dash away, flying away from her friend.
 
"You're slowing down Manuel!" Simone shouted with a laugh as she grabbed the quaffle and made her way around the pitch. Keeping an eye out for her fellow chasers and keeping a tight grip on the ball.
 
After scoring, Orélie took another moment to check on the team, impressed as Mualla kept up the solid defense, although it was a same it resulted in Nadine taking a hit. She was pulled out of her observation as Simone zipped past with the quaffle, shaking her head fondly. "Just taking a break to let you catch up," She called after Simone, following her across the pitch.
 
Simone kept up her speed and decided to be a little selfish and keep the quaffle to herself as she raced to the goals. She tried one of her famous moves, flying directly at the hoops before diving away as she made her shot and it worked. She cheered as the quaffle soared through the hoop.
 
Orélie was thrilled that the chasers were doing so well this practice, though she couldn't help but wonder if some of their success was attributed to how down Bijoux seemed. Resolving to check in her friend after practice, Orélie grabbed the quaffle next, swooping past Simone to give her a fly-by high five before taking off down the pitch.
 
While Mualla didn't always hit her initial target, she was still hitting people, which was all that mattered to her. She stretched out her arm and hit a passing bludger towards Sophia again, wanting to give Jacob something to do. But again, it went completely off course and hit @Bijoux Laurent instead. "Sorry!" She said after flying behind the hoops whilst in pursuit of her Seeker.
 
Jacob tried to look out for more bludgers, but couldn't find any. The other beater was definetly blazing and everything she saw seemed to be a hit.
 
Keeping an eye on Simone and Nadine, Orélie approached the hoops, ready to take her shot. Unfortunately, a bludger shot past right as Orélie threw, startling her as it collided with Bijoux. The quaffle dropped, completely missing the hoops, but Orélie was more worried for poor Bijoux.
 
Again, Sophia dogged another bludger from Mualla. The teen stuck her tongue out, "Work on your aim, Mualla!" Sophia jest as she flew off again. For a second there she held off from searching for the snitch to tease her friend.
 
Checking the time Orélie knew it was time to end practice. The team had played great today, and while she was still a little worried about Bijoux, Orélie was proud of everyone. "Alright team, that's it for today," She called out across the pitch, grabbing the quaffle and touching down to set it away. "Good job everyone, really. The other schools aren't going to know what hit them," She said with a grin.
