Orélie had a good feeling about this year. They'd have a bit of a rough go last year, but had come out on top and Orélie was eager for this year to go much smoother. It was the BONSquad's last year as a team after all. There was a slight chill in the air as she stepped onto the pitch, but the weather was clear and Orélie chatted a few quick housekeeping things with Nadine as they waited for the rest of the team to arrive. "Good morning, everyone," She said brightly to some of the first players, doing a few warm up stretches. The team was very different from when Orélie had first joined, and would be very different come next year, but Orélie hoped they could leave them in a good place. It was weird to think how quickly Quidditch had gone from that silly thing Nadine loved to something so important to her and those she was closest to.

OOCOut of Character:
Just arrivals for now, thanks~

Nadine stood waiting next to Orélie as the team arrived. The team had changed a lot, and Nadine was very hopeful about their odds this year. She smiled at Orélie, then nodded to the arriving players. "Good morning, feel free to do a bit of warm up." She told them. "We'll start practice soon." She was happy that everyone in BONSquad was here on the team with her, though she tried not to think about how that would end after this. She stood more relaxed than she had last year, and no longer felt any resentment towards Orélie. They were a team now, and Nadine was eager to make up for last year.

Bijoux still didn't know how she felt about the decision to sign up for Quidditch again. Though she had been the one to talk most of her friends into joining the team, her heart just wasn't in this anymore. She had lost her chance to find her sister, and now the Hogwarts referee was out to get her because their beater couldn't handle a little slap on the arm. It was all too much. But it would have felt wrong to abandon her team in their last year together, so here she stood, broom in hand, uncharacteristically quiet as she waited for the practice to begin.

Sophia felt super chill for today's practice, which is unusual for the loud mouth commentator that she normally was. It's a different feeling when one goes from commentator to being a part of the actual game. Sophia could take out her frustration on anyone in the game, it didn't matter who it was or which team they were in. This, it was totally different and it made her stand back to adjust to her new role on the team for the time being. "Saluto! I'm going to do just that," the teen nodded and took off on a school's broomstick. She will be playing with their broomstick until she decides to buy one of her own. Or, get one from @Danielle Gates, her cousin is bound to have a few lying around in her shed.

Simone took a deep breath as she walked on to the quidditch field and was looking forward to practice. She took up her usual spot beside Bijoux and frowned when she noticed her friend was unusually quite. "Why the long face Bi?" she asked and started to stretch a bit before practice really began. "I think Orelie and Nadine aren't going to have any public meltdowns this year, so that should be good." she pointed out, hoping to get at least a smile from her. @Bijoux Laurent

Jacob was overjoyed that he had made the team, the feeling of flying was amazing. He had brought his old Quidditch broom to Hogwarts and walked over to the pitch. He hoped everyone could understand his semi broken French. The pitch was nice and he walked over to the others. ‘’Hello everyone, thanks for letting me on the team’’ Jacob said in his best French while waiting for the practise to start.

It was nice to be back at Beauxbatons again but even better to finally be able to play Quidditch again. Her parents still weren't convinced that Quidditch was something she should pursue after graduation, even after winning last season's finale match against Hogwarts. Which was why she decided that she would have to turn it up a little this year by practicing a lot more than she usually would. She'd need to if she would ever wish to convince her parents that she was actually really good at Quidditch. She smiled and waved happily at the others once she arrived on the pitch, though instead of chatting started doing warm-ups.

Once the team was mostly present and looking warmed up, Orélie got their attention, setting her foot on the chest with the game balls as she addressed them. "Alright everyone, let's get to work. Just cause we won last year, doesn't mean we're about to relax now," She said, giving everyone a fond look. Orélie was proud of the team she and Nadine had put together and had high hopes they'd manage another great season, though preferably with way fewer fights this year. "Mualla, Jacob, I want you to pick a seeker and guard them. We need our defense tight this year. Atala, you're on offense, keep them on their toes," She said with a nod. Discussing tactics with Nadine over the holidays, they had both agreed they didn't need a repeat of last years awful experience against HNZ's ruthless beaters. "Chasers, you're all lovely, we'll practice passing and keep Bijoux guessing. And seekers, try to stay aware of your environment, not just the snitch," She said, finally mounting up on her broom. "But that's enough talking, let's have a good practice," Orélie announced, giving the chest a swift kick to release the bludgers and snitch before shooting up into the air to toss the quaffle into play.

Jacob was protecting @Sophia Corelli and flew right by her side. Soon a bludger came towards them and Jacob gave it a big wack. Hitting @Orélie Manuel in the progress. Luckily they were only practice bludgers so they didn't hurt as much.

Sophia went flying around the pitch like she's been on a broomstick since the day she was born. That's how easily she picked up flying, and she was without a doubt trying to impress a certain someone on the field. Sophia waves at Mualla and takes a dive to hear Orélie's instructions. "Aye, aye captain!" Sophia was really hoping Mualla would guard her, but no, the new transfer with the broken french took the lead. "Damn! The new kid has a good swing!"

Simone blew a kiss to Orelie when she called the chasers lovely and grabbed her broom to kick off. She managed to grab the quaffle as Orelie threw it into play and started to make her way towards the goals where Bijoux was waiting.

Mualla nodded at the instructions and once in the air flew over towards the alternate Seeker to guard him.

Another bludger came towards the girl, but although he gave it a good wack. It went way off into the sky, at least he had protected her.

Orélie had been ready to tail Simone as she grabbed the quaffle when she heard the now familiar sound of a bludger. Before she could react, it'd collided with her chest and Orélie let out of a string of curses. "Good. Hit," She wheezed out to Jacob, hoping being hit this early wasn't a sign of things to come this season.

Jacob smiled when Orélie said it was good hit, he wasn't glad he had hit her. But in practice there was no enemy around to hit. Jacob spotted another bludger and it went off on its own, there was no use going towards it.

Hugo was thrilled to have made the team as an alternate, and he grinned and wave dat Nadine and her friend as he came running up to the pitch. He was just in time to listen to the speech Nadine's friend gave. He was eager to practice and prove himself. He zoomed off, noticing one of the older students was following him.

Orélie started the practice, giving the strategy they had thought up together. She was glad the defense was going to be worked on, and hoped that it would help theam beat Hogwarts more easily this time. She got to the air once Orélie was done talking, trying to focus on the quaffle. Then Orélie was hit immediately, and Nadine winced in sympathy. She seemed okay, so she followed Simone in case the girl needed support.

Simone hadn't even seen Orelie get hit by the bludger until she had glanced behind her to see if anyone was open. She winced and hoped it wasn't an omen for what their season would hold and she took her shot and threw the quaffle. Simone made the shot a cheered. "You're turn captains!" she shouted and waited to see if Orelie or Nadine would grab the ball first.

Orélie was still following behind Simone, though too far back for a good pass. Nadine had slid in for support and with the three of them open to take a shot, Simone was able to get one in pass Bijoux. "Nice shot," She called to Simone, wincing still from the hit as she scooped up the quaffle when Bijoux tossed it back in before making her way to do a quick lap of the pitch.

Mualla closely followed the Seeker, looking around for any signs of a Bludger coming their way. They were good, for now.

Jacob shadowed his seeker, looking around to any incoming danger. Luckily there was none at the moment and he just flew alongside her. Hopefully she would catch the snitch soon, he loved being on the winning team.

Still trying to shake off the linger ache from the bludger hit, Orélie looped back near center pitch, happy to see Nadine and Simone nearby in formation. Despite things being more than a little turbulent last year, she was feeling their bond as chasers was stronger than ever now. Lobbing the quaffle over to Nadine, Orélie stayed in close to follow Nadine back down the pitch. @Nadine De Rosier

Nadine grinned as Orélie passed the quaffle over to her, catching it easily and tucking it under her arm. "Thanks!" She told her friend with a wink. She then flew up to the hoops with the quaffle, dodging a passing bludger before heading to the hoops Bibi was guarding. She threw the quaffle and grinned as it sailed through the hoop. She blew Bibi a kiss. "Sorry Bibi." She said, smiling before zooming off.

Simone whistled loudly as Nadine made the score and laughed. She was nearly caught off guard as Bijoux threw the quaffle back into play. She barely manged to catch it in time before flying off to make her lap before trying to score again.

Orélie smiled when Nadine was able to make the shot, pleased that their formation and passing was helping throw Bijoux off her usual solid defense. Though she had felt like Bijoux had been a bit down lately, and she gave her a sympathetic smile as Bijoux threw the ball back into play, turning to follow after Simone as back up again.
