Y28 Dueling Match #5

[Professor Kalif Styx]

Professor Styx leads the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He reveals the rules as well as the point system. He walks off the stage and orders the duel to begin, as he keeps a watchful eye.​

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.
The duel begins now. If someone doesn't post after 24 hours, they are disqualified.

Zenia had quickly learned the name of the boy who she had punched. Rory Fergusson, the evil, evil Slytherin. Zee couldn't wait to get her hands on him; before she remembered that it was magic only. Zee had thought that signing up for this tournament would be fun, but this match had quickly turned personal. With a glare, Zee kept her purple eyes on her victim opponent as Professor Styx read through the rules. She hoped he wasn't going to be bias towards the boy from his house. As soon as Styx was done, Zenia drew out her wand. "Stupefy!"

Oh how glad he was for the duelling tournament, finally an occasion to get people back with magic. This first fight for even was the best it could've been, a little warm up with a weak girl who'd once punched him. He smirked at her a little before returning the glare she sent him, he blocked her spell with ease and gave a condescending laugh with it, as if calling the spell weak, "Furnunculus " the boy returned with a smirk on his face, knowing exactly what the spell would do if it hit it's target.

Zenia growled when Fergusson smirked and blocked the spell. She jumped out of the way after he sent a horrible hex towards her, before sending the jelly fingers curse towards the boy.

Rory gave a little laugh when the girl jumped out of the way of the curse, seeing that as a silly method of dodging a spell, especially when she could do some actual magic to deflect it, which was what he did. He wanted to hurt the girl badly, make her regret ever punching him, but as a third year, his spell casting wasn't exactly the best, "Incendio," he cast, if she caught fire that would certainly be funny to him.

Zenia took note of the boy's spell he was using to protect himself, but was totally thrown off when he sent fire towards her. Again, she ducked to dodge it, but when she stood back up, her face was like thunder. "You tried to set me on fire? What the hell - are you actually insane?!" Zenia yelled, her temper growing. So instead of sending a spell at Fergusson, Zee did what she knew best; magic and wand ignored, Zenia sprinted towards Rory, tackling into his side to bring him down.

Of course, it had to be the Gryffindor that stirred up trouble. Kalif sighed, before flicking his wand to halt Zenia in her tracks. He approached the arena, stepping up on it before saying to the Gryffindor girl, "You are disqualified. And go straight to your Head of House. You knew the rules and I don't tolerate direct disregard of orders." He then turned to Rory before shaking his head. "By default, Rory wins."
