Sloane rather enjoyed the electives fair the last couple of years. She didn't know how long it had been running, but it had been there for as long as she had at least. She had been teaching for nearly two years now and she was quite proud of that. So far it had all been so popular with students and she definitely hoped that it stayed that way because it was a great opportunity for the students to ask questions of the professors. Though Sloane's door was always open, she didn't have all of the answers when it came to electives and so she could really only point them in the right direction. When she was studying, maybe an electives fair would have helped her out a little when it came to what she needed to get done. She'd had to guess for most of her electives, but it had luckily all worked out rather well in the end, which she was quite happy with. Sloane was mostly excited to help the students to make decisions by allowing them to see what would be on offer and pointing them in the right direction. This was extremely important for their further education and she wasn't going to let an opportunity go to waste.
Sloane was confident that most of the professors would know what they were doing now and so as she set up, she made sure that everything was in place. She had all of the resources readily available and there were some information booklets at the doors to give a bit of an overview on each of the classes which could then be explained in more detail by the professors that taught them. She had some information herself, but she was not the advanced muggle studies professor, that was Jonathon. Still, she would be able to answer questions for those that wanted to head into the advanced class and anything she couldn't answer she was sure she could point them to him, but she didn't expect there to be a problem. As the Hufflepuff head of house, she had to make sure that she was available for any of her students, and anyone else that needed a question answered. That was he job after all. Flicking her wand at the doors, they opened and Sloane took her seat, waiting for the students to arrive.
